U.S. Risers/Fallers: Cisco, Tesla, Dillard’s, Coty, Kohl’s, Juno

Below are the main news driven share price changes at 2:30 p.m. in New York on Thursday:

RISERS

Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) advanced 3.9 percent to $28.99, a day after the networking-equipment giant posted higher-than-estimated revenue and profit in its fiscal fourth quarter, buoyed by strong demand for its products in the United States.

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) gained 1.2 percent to $241.11. The electric car maker plans to sell $500 million in stock to fund its hefty spending on projects like the Model 3 vehicle and its Nevada battery factory.

Dillard’s (NYSE:DDS) increased 1.5 percent to $96.11. The fashion apparel retailer reported profit declined in its most recent quarter, weakened by declining margins, but still bested analysts’ expectations.

Coty (NYSE:COTY) jumped 6.0 percent to $30.44. The beauty-products maker swung to a profit in the fourth quarter as cost cuts outweighed lower sales.

FALLERS

Kohl’s (NYSE:KSS) retreated 8.9 percent to $56.02 after the department store operator reported unexpected slumps in its fiscal second-quarter revenue and profit as consumers delayed back-to-school shopping due to a shift in tax holidays from July to August.

Juno Therapeutics (NASDAQ:JUNO) sank 3.1 percent to $41.07. The biopharmaceutical company reported second-quarter loss widened on higher expenses as it ramps up operations following its December initial public offering.
