RISERS
Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) advanced 4.2 percent to $29.06, a day after the networking-equipment giant posted higher-than-estimated revenue and profit in its fiscal fourth quarter, buoyed by strong demand for its products in the United States.
Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) gained 2.5 percent to $243.93. The electric car maker plans to sell $500 million in stock to fund its hefty spending on projects like the Model 3 vehicle and its Nevada battery factory.

Coty (NYSE:COTY) jumped 6.3 percent to $30.52. The beauty-products maker swung to a profit in the fourth quarter as cost cuts outweighed lower sales.
FALLERS
Kohl’s (NYSE:KSS) retreated 10 percent to $55.64 after the department store operator reported unexpected slumps in its fiscal second-quarter revenue and profit as consumers delayed back-to-school shopping due to a shift in tax holidays from July to August.
Juno Therapeutics (NASDAQ:JUNO) sank 3.7 percent to $40.82. The biopharmaceutical company reported second-quarter loss widened on higher expenses as it ramps up operations following its December initial public offering.
