U.S. Risers/Fallers: Macy’s, Berkshire Hathaway, Alibaba, Fossil, Eleven Biotherapeutics, Wayfair, Fidelity National

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes among U.S.-listed stocks at 11:10 a.m. in New York:

RISERS

Eleven Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ:EBIO) more than doubled to $5.41 after the clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company started a late-stage trial for EBI-005.

Wayfair (NYSE:W) leaped 19.5 percent to $45.55 after the online home-goods retailer reported a narrower-than-expected loss in its latest quarter.

Fogo de Chao (NASDAQ:FOGO) gained 1 percent to $20.20 after the Brazilian steakhouse chain reported second-quarter revenue and profit above market expectations.

Fidelity National Information Services (NYSE:FIS) advanced 6.1 percent to $69.09. The payment technology solutions provider will buy financial software maker SunGard for $9.1 billion in cash, stock, and assumed debt.

FALLERS:

Macy’s (NYSE:M) fell 4.2 percent to $64.70 after the largest U.S. department-store chain reported fiscal second-quarter revenue and profit that trailed market expectations and it lowered its full-year sales outlook.

Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A) slipped 1.2 percent to $211,990.00 after Standard & Poor's Ratings Services placed the company’s credit rating on review, citing the cash the conglomerate will spend to buy Precision Castparts (NYSE:PCP) for about $32 billion.

Alibaba (NYSE:BABA) sank 6.5 percent to $72.31. The China-based e-commerce giant reported revenue was below forecasts and its growth was its slowest in more than three years.

Fossil Group (NASDAQ:FOSL) tumbled 1.8 percent after the watch and accessories maker posted downbeat second-quarter revenue and cut its outlook for the year.
