Monday’s most followed in U.S. including Deutsche Bank, Stifel Financial, Iron Mountain, LendingClub, Wal-Mart, American Airlines, Sears Holdings, McDonald’s, Vail Resorts

U.S. shares eased today, one session after an upbeat May jobs report bolstered expectations for higher interest rates later this year. The S&P 500 (INDEXSP:.INX) dropped 0.3 percent to 2,085 at 12:01 p.m. in New York. The 30-company Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDEXDJX:.DJI) fell 0.3 percent to 17,802, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 (INDEXNASDAQ:NDX) skidded 0.7 percent to 4,445.83. Most followed shares included Deutsche Bank, Stifel Financial, Iron Mountain, LendingClub, Wal-Mart, American Airlines, Sears Holdings, McDonald’s, and Vail Resorts.

In financials, Deutsche Bank (NYSE:DB) rose 5.2 percent to $32.22 after following the appointment of John Cryan as co-CEO, effective July 1. Cryan replaces long-time executive Anshu Jain. Co-CEO Juergen Fitschen will remain in his position until next May, after which Cryan will become sole CEO.

Stifel Financial (NYSE:SF) gained 1 percent to $57.58 after announcing it will acquire Barclay's Wealth and Investment Management, Americas. The unit employs about 180 financial advisors and manages roughly $56 billion in assets.

Iron Mountain (NYSE:IRM) fell 1 percent to $32.34 after agreeing to buy document-management firm Recall Holdings Ltd.

LendingClub (NYSE:LC) sagged 3.6 percent to $18.06 after an upgrade to "overweight" at Pacific Crest, citing stable pricing trends and higher confidence in consumer conversion. The $23 price target is nearly 23 percent higher than Friday's closing price.

In consumer-shares, Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE:WMT) advanced 0.1 percent to $73.09 after Raymond James upgraded the stock to "strong buy" from "outperform" on the expectation that the big-box retailer offers more reward than risk at the current share price. Raymond James retained its $86 a share price target, a 17.7 percent upside from Friday's closing price.

American Airlines Group (NASDAQ:AAL) fell 5.3 percent to $39.48 as chief executive officer Doug Parker told Reuters in an interview that capacity growth could depress profits.

Sears Holdings (NASDAQ:SHLD) fluctuated and was last trading at $39.89, down 2.1 percent after the department store operator reported a smaller quarterly loss and said it plans to raise $2.6 billion from the spinoff of 235 stores into a real estate investment trust (REIT).

McDonald's (NYSE:MCD) wavered between gains and losses and was lost trading at $95.45, down 0.1 percent, after the fast food retailer reported a less-than-expected decline in global same-store sales as a 2.3 percent gain in European sales offset a 2.2 fall in the United States. Last month, the fast food retailer said it would stop reporting same-store sales beginning July.

Vail Resorts (NYSE:MTN) sank 1.4 percent to $104.79. The holding company said earnings rose 13 percent in its latest quarter, as higher lift revenue offset challenging conditions in Tahoe and Utah. But results fell short of analysts’ expectations.

In other stocks, Walter Energy (NYSE:WLT) slumped 27 percent to $0.33 and was set to open at record low after Bloomberg reported the coal miner could file for bankruptcy this month.

Integrated Silicon Solution (NASDAQ:ISSI) fell 1.5 percent to $20.42 after saying Cypress Semiconductor (NASDAQ:CY) failed to meet its own deadline for completing its agreement to acquire the chip maker, though ISSI signaled it is still open to closing the deal.
