Intercede gains as it reveals 35% rise in revenue

“The strong start to the year provides a solid base to meet market expectations for the year.”

Intercede (LON:IGP) shares gained around 6% on Wednesday after saying it had achieved strong revenue growth.

The Leicester based software firm told investors that revenue was up 35% in the first half of the financial year at £5.5mln form £4mln.

It added that its enlarged marketing team continues to bring in new business, with notable contract wins with a major US federal agency, a US West Coast bank and the first deal under a new partnership with Citrix.

“The new contracts will all yield further revenues during the current year and beyond,” the company said.

“The strong start to the year provides a solid base to meet market expectations for the year.”

In London, Intercede was up 6.5p, 5.78%, trading at 119p per share.
