First Quantum Minerals (LON:FQM) up 33.5%. The company has finalised terms for its precious metals stream deal with Franco-Nevada, which will have to pay an initial contribution of US$330mln to US$340mln to First Quantum in October. It also cut its copper production guidance for the year.
Lonmin (LON:LMI) up 13.5%. Commodity price rebounded today on a weakening US dollar.
Al Noor Hospitals Group (LON:ANH) up 6.4%. Yesterday, as the market drew to a close, the company confirmed it is in discussions with Mediclinic regarding a potential merger. It would be as a reverse takeover with Al Noor issuing new shares.
FALLERS
Tertiary Minerals (LON:TYM) down 24.8%. The fluorspar developer has raised £650,000 through a placing at 2.25p per share.
Atlas Development (LON:ADSS) down 22.4%. Shares slipped back after rising yesterday. The company said late in the day that it has looked at other projects including a potash development in Ethiopia.
Forbidden Technologies’ (LON:FBT) down 9.7%. The video editing specialist has re-jigged its executive team with Stephen Streater moving up to become chairman and marketing and products Aziz Musa taking over as chief executive.
Tomco Energy (LON:TMC) down 8.6%. The company relayed comments from Red Leaf Resources which says the economics of its proprietary EcoShale process are improving.

Aquarius Platinum (LON:AQP) up 37.6%. Sibanye Gold has made a 12.9p per share offer for Aquarius, a 60% premium to yesterday’s close, which values the platinum miner at around £194mln.
Greggs (LON:GRG) up 8.2%. New winter warmers and shop refits have helped the baker to cook up tastier-than-expected third quarter sales.
FALLERS
Mosman Oil & Gas (LON:MSMN) down 15.7%. Origin Energy has given the go ahead to proceed with the acquisition of STEP - the South Taranaki Energy Project.
Acacia Mining (LON:ACA) down 13.1%. The miner produced approximately 164,000 ounces of gold in the third quarter of 2015, a lower amount than had been expected.
Ted Baker (LON:TED) down 2.6%. The fashion retailer maintained its good recent sales growth with America especially strong, but said August’s sales were adversely impacted by a number of external factors, while full year trading remains dependent on the more important second half.

RISERS
Independent Resources (LON:IRG) up 29.3% and Nostra Terra Oil & Gas (LON:NTOG) up 15.8%. The two have struck a deal to acquire a 50% non-operated stake in producing assets in Egypt. The pair of AIM oil companies, which set up a joint venture last month, are to acquire the stake in the East Ghazalat concession for US$3.5mln.
Eurasia Mining (LON:EUA) up 8.5%. The company has been granted the mining licence at West Kytlim. First mining on the licence is scheduled for next year, the company said.
Graphene Nanochem (LON:GRPH) up 7.4%. Following a successful trial, by a leading Middle Eastern oil company the group has received a commercial order for its water-based drilling additive, PlatQuartZ.
FALLERS
Stanley Gibbons (LON:SGI) down 27%. The stamp dealer said weakness in its Asian trading and difficult market conditions for some of its more high-value stock will affect its full-year figures.
Paragon Entertainment (LON:PEL) down 20%. Due to delays on certain projects the company now expects full year results for this year to be below current expectations.
BTG (LON:BTG) down 15.4%. The pharma group said revenue is expected to be in the lower half of its guidance, with an uptick in interest for its varicose vein treatment yet to translate into sales.
