RISERS
Regency Mines (LON:RGM) up 38.8%. The company has wielded the axe on its overheads as it continues its cutback on costs.
Strat Aero (LON:AERO) up 17.5%. The drone expert yesterday announced it had bought Geocurve Holdings, a drone inspection and survey company which works with a number of blue-chip companies, including the UK’s environment agency, EDF Energy, Carillion (LON:CLLN) and RSPB.
APR Energy (LON:APR) up 12%. The company received a one month extension from its bank on its financial covenant date to October 31.
ITM Power (LON:ITM) up 5.8%. The company has joined forces with Symbio FCell and Arcola Energy to provide a complete one-stop package for UK commercial van fleets powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
Cranswick (LON:CWK) up 3%. The sausage and bacon maker served up better-than-expected revenue and forecast a sizzling Christmas.
FALLERS
Koovs (LON:KOOV) down 14%. The India-focused online clothes seller saw its pre-tax losses widen on higher costs related to marketing, despite a substantial rise in sales.

RISERS
Canadian Overseas Petroleum (LON:COPL) up 14.8%. the company said its joint venture with Shoreline Energy is set to acquire near-term production assets in Nigeria.
Tullow Oil (LON:TLW) up 8%. The oil firm revealed it had come out unscathed from a six-monthly review of its reserves based lending. The oil firm therefore still has some US$3.7bn of debt capacity.
Pearson (LON:PSON) up 3%. Citigroup gave the company a ‘buy’ rating with target price of 1,425p. Meanwhile, reports suggest it could be closing in on a deal for Learndirect, which won the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency's testing mandate away from Pearson.
FALLERS
Golden Saint Resources (LON:GSR) down 21.3%. Work to begin looking at the potential of the Baja, Tongo and Moa licences in Sierra Leone is set to start again following delays.
PeerTV (LON:PTV) down 10.6%. The company issued 298mln shares at 0.024p (£71,687) to CSS Alpha as part repayment for a financing facility, 38.5mln at the same price to Cedric Littman as part of a loan repayment, and 103.6mln in part settlement to a liability of PeerTV.
Morrisons (LON:MRW) down 2.4%. The supermarkets struggled to hold onto gains made yesterday from Sainsbury’s news that its full year results will be ahead of expectations.

RISERS
Ortac Resources (LON:OTC) up 55.5%. The company said Zamsort's copper mining plans have been boosted - after the Zambian firm raised a further US$2 million from Kopara Investments.
Atlantic Coal (LON:ATC) up 17.4%. The Anthracite miner reported a 65% increase in sales for the nine months to end September as it approaches its best time of year for sales and prices - the home and industrial heating market.
Mercom Oil Sands (LON:MMO) up 12%. Pre-tax losses narrowed to around £470,000 from £700,000 in the year ended March 31 as it slashed admin costs.
FALLERS
Caza Oil & Gas (LON:CAZA) down 49.6%. The company has revealed it is at an advanced stage of talks over a potential equity financing.
NetScientific (LON:NSCI) down 12.7%. Losses widened in the first half as the company revealed plans to raise up to £20mln from a placing of 15mln shares at 120p a pop. It will use the cash to ramp up development of subsidiaries Vortex Biosciences and Wanda.
Coal of Africa (LON:CZA) down 11.1%. Investec’s stake was chopped by 0.76% to 7.2% following the placement of 183mln shares issued to Yishun Brightrise Investment, illustrating the level of dilution to shareholders.
