RISERS
Randgold Resources (LON:RRS) up 5.1%. The gold price rose more than 2% today, rising to around US$1,155, its highest level for a month.
ASOS (LON:ASC) up 5.2%. An upgrade to ‘buy’ from Liberum Capital sent shares in the online retailer rocketing. Since the retailer’s 2015 peak, shares have dropped 39% and this makes it attractive, reckoned the broker.
FALLERS
Armadale Capital (LON:ACP) down 19.8%. The company’s definitive study for its Mpokoto gold mine in the DRC is to include new metallurgical work. Chairman Peter Marks said: “As a result of this new planned work, the DFS is now targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of 2015, although importantly, the overall target of commercial production remains on track for the first half of 2016.”
Poundland (LON:PLND) down 12%. The British discount retailer announced it is raising about £50mln to bankroll its £55mln purchase of rival 99p Stores.
Glencore (LON:GLEN) down 8.3%. The miner’s stock has been plummeting since Goldman Sachs said: “Recent underperformance suggests that the measures exercised are insufficient and more is needed.”

RISERS
Range Resources (LON:RRL) up 14.6%. The company said it is on-track to achieve its previously announced 1,000 barrels per day production target by the end of the year.
RapidCloud International (LON:RCI) up 10.3%. The firm said it was confident of hitting full-year expectations as it traditionally sees an uptick in sales in the second half. Profit was lower at the half-way stage, however, as a slowdown in non-essential spending across Malaysia following the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (a bit like VAT) hit RapidCloud.
ANGLE (LON:AGL) up 5.9%. Its Parsortix system for harvesting circulating tumour cells has been given a ringing endorsement by researchers at the Barts Cancer Institute (BCI) in London.
FALLERS
Strat Aero (LON:AERO) down 18.4%. Europe's only listed drone services firm, urged shareholders to be "patient" as it waits for further investment to grow its unmanned aerial vehicle business.
Kemin Resources (LON:KEM) down 11%. The Drozhilovskoye and Smirnovskoye deposits will be suspended, or ‘preserved’, until the price of molybdenum and tungsten picks up Sanzhar Assaubayev, chied efecutive, said. The company made an interim pre-tax loss of £431,000 from £470,000 a year ago.
BrainJuicer Group (LON:BJU) down 8.5%. The marketing and brand consultants said it is currently in line with expectations, but added “we have little revenue visibility and plenty of volatility within individual clients, and so cannot anticipate with any certainty how our results will unfold in the short term."

RISERS
Independent Oil & Gas (LON:IOG) up 23.8%. The company said it has made significant progress towards drilling the planned Skipper well in the North Sea after securing commitments amounting to around £7mln in funding for the project.
Pro Global Insurance Solutions (LON:PROG) up 11.6%. The company swung to a small profit of £90,000 in the first half of 2015 compared to a £1.6mln loss in the same period last year.
Falanx Group (LON:FLX) up 10%. The company announced it has won a number of new deals for its cyber security and corporate intelligence businesses. Its cyber division struck deals with three unnamed financial services companies while its corporate intelligence unit secured five new contracts across a range of sectors.
FALLERS
RM2 International (LON:RM2) down 23.2%. A change to gel coating for the pallet maker means it will not achieve the substantial upswing in production it had expected to start in the third quarter of this year. Sales and production numbers for the full year will be significantly below previous guidance.
Greatland Gold (LON:GGP) down 16.3%. The company said it will cut its exposure to early-stage exploration work, selling off a number of projects to ocus on advanced projects due to falling commodity prices.
London Capital Group (LON:LCG) down 13%. Sales dropped by a third to £5.1mln from £7.7mln, as pre-tax losses widened to £6.6mln from £400,00 due to a substantial restructure of the business.
