Below are the main share price movements at 3.30pm.

RISERS

ISG (LON:ISG) up 11.6%. The construction services company swung to a loss in the year after a tough start but said conditions were improving in the second half.

Starcom (LON:STAR) up 10.6%. The remote tracking firm secured a new contract for its Helios Hybrid tracking system with an unnamed international organisation valued at around US$90,000.

Ashmore (LON:ASHM) up 7.35%. Investors have pulled money out of emerging markets for fear of a slowdown in China. Despite this, the investment firm reported a 6% rise in pre-tax profit to US$58bn in the year to the end of June.

FALLERS

Auhua Clean Energy (LON:ACE) down 14.5%. Taiwan Ziolar Technology is no longer a subsidiary of the company after an independent investor injected US$700,000 into the company for 2.1mln new shares, representing 97% of the total issued shares. Ahua holds 50,000 shares and has been significantly diluted.

Falkland Island Holdings (LON:FKL) down 5.9%. The company said it expected a satisfactory FY trading performance, but profitability in the first five months of this year is lower than last year.

Whitbread (LON:WTB) down 2%. The Premier Inn and Costa Coffee owner reported sales took a worse-than-expected hit from a wet August. Trading also failed to match the same period last year.

Below are the main share price movements at 1pm.

RISERS

Cambria Automobiles (LON:CAMB) up 7.25%. The company said it will be ahead of revised market expectations for the year to August 31. “Trading in the first 11 months of the financial year under review has been substantially ahead of the corresponding period in 2013/14 on both a total and a like-for-like basis,” the company said.

Vernalis (LON:VER) up 5.87%. The pharma group launched its new cough relief medicine Tuzistra XR, which is now available to patients and physicians in the United States.

Petards Group (LON:PEG) up 4.5%. The company said interim pre-tax profit rose to £356,000 from £273,000 as margin improvements offset lower sales.

FALLERS

M Winkworth (LON:WINK) down 6.5%. The estate agent posted a small rise in sales but profit lowered due to a lack of activity during the time of the general election in May.

Flowtech Fluidpower (LON:FLO) down 5.1%. Weakness in the UK and Europe impacted the maintenance, repair and overhaul market. Shares eased despite profits and sales rising.

Character Group (LON:CCT) down 3.2%. The toy distributor said it is trading in line with expectations and that its share buy-back program will continue.

Below are the main share price movements at 9.45am.

RISERS

Cambria Africa (LON:CMB) up 78%. Shares resumed trading today as the company released both full year 2014 and interim 2015 results. Revenue from its Payserv Africa and Millchem assets rose 11% in 2014 and 22% in the first half of 2015. It has also undertaken a complete board reshuffle.

Amlin (LON:AML) up 32%. Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI) has made an offer of 670p per share for each of Amlin’s shares. It represents a 36% premium to yesterday’s close and values the business at £3.4bn. Shareholders will still receive the 8.4p dividend payment.

Conviviality Retail (LON:CVR) up 20%. Punch Taverns said it would sell its 50% stake in Matthew Clark to Conviviality for £100mln (US$154mln), meaning it has now acquired the drinks wholesaler for £200mln. The deal will create a UK drinks wholesaler with combined annual sales of over £1.1bn, the company said.

FALLERS

Oxford Instruments (LON:OXIG) down 17%. The company lowered its expectations for the 2016 financial year. It blamed superconductor prices and tough industrial conditions in China, but said operating profits were ahead of the same period last year.

SQS Software Quality Systems (LON:SQS) down 16.5. The company said it is addressing its exposure to margin pressure in its regular testing services business by reducing client numbers, overhead costs and headcount.

Edenville Energy (LON:EDL) down 10.8%. The company is in talks with banks to finance the Rukwa Power project.
