RISERS
Range Resources (LON:RRL) up 8.5%.The oil firm spudded the MD 42N well at the Morne Diablo field in Trinidad. It is the first development well in a programme of 22 planned wells, and it is expected to be complete in around 20 days.
Kaz Minerals (LON:KAZ) up 7%. The copper miner was higher after rival Glencore announced the suspension of two of its copper mines in Africa, cutting its copper output by a fifth.
Versarien (LON:VRS) up 4%. The company has been granted US patent protection for its volume graphene platelet production process.
FALLERS
Minera IRL (LON:MIRL) down 13.5%. The company was forced to suspend operations at its Corihuarmi mine site. Representatives are to meet leaders of the Atcas community on Monday to resolve local concerns.
Lonmin (LON:LMI) down 7.25%. A major shareholder sold 2mln shares (around 0.2%) of the company.

RISERS
Global Invacom Group (LON:GINV) up 10%. It is part of a consortium, including Avanti Communications, working on a satellite communications service which will presented at the IBC 2015 event in Amsterdam. They are working with Microsoft and the European Space Agency on a project to integrate satellite television and broadband.
Mountfield Group (LON:MOGP) up 8.4%. The data centre refurbisher saw profit jump to £1.1mln from £800,000 a year ago, and revenue rise to £7.3mln from £5.6mln in the first half of 2015. The group’s order book for 2015 is around £13.5mln with more being negotiated.
Antofagasta (LON:ANTO) up 7%. The copper miner was higher after rival Glencore announced the suspension of two of its copper mines in Africa, cutting its copper output by a fifth.
FALLERS
Central Rand Gold (LON:CRND) down 17%. The progress of talks with one Asian investor group has slowed while talks with another have gone from them acquitting Central Rand Gold to making a “significant initial investment.” Talks with both are on-going, having started in July.
Macromac (LON:MACC) down 13.8%. Revenue rose 41% in the first half of 2015 but the company swung to a pre-tax loss of around £275,000 from a profit of £1.1mln (using current exchange rates) in the same period the year before.
Bwin.Party (LON:BPTY) down 6.45%. The gambling firm accepted a higher offer from GVC Holdings, but some analysts reckon a deal with 888 would have been a better fit.

RISERS
Lekoil (LON:LEK) up 22%. The Otakikpo field, in Nigeria, has now achieved first oil. It started from two of four production strings in the Otakikpo-002 well and flowed at peak rates of 5,703 barrels of oil per day, significantly ahead of company expectations.
Condor Gold (LON:CNR) up 9.8%. The miner has launched a strategic review which could include selling the company.
Glencore (LON:GLEN) up 7.7%. The company said it aims to reduce net debt to around US$20bn by the end of 2016 from around US$30bn through measures including an equity issuance.
FALLERS
Audioboom (LON:BOOM) down 33%. Media group 7Digital (LON:7DIG) sold 58mln shares, its full 10.8% stake in the company, which it inherited from the takeover of UBC Media. Audioboom initially rose on the news high profile property developer Nick Candy, had bought £480,000 worth of shares.
Madagascar Oil (LON:MOIL) down 23.2%. The oil firm has had talks with interested parties and hopes to secure a strategic partner for the Tsimiroro oil field development by the end of the first quarter of 2016. In the meantime it is in talks with major shareholders over new financing.
PHSC (LON:PHSC) down 9%. Chief executive Stephen King, at the company’s AGM today, is expected to show earnings were lower in the year to July, as two large contracts came to an end. Earnings were lower and the company said it was looking at acquiring businesses where appropriate.
