RISERS
African Potash (LON:AFPO) up 5.3%. The fertiliser supplier has signed two deals this week with countries in Africa. Yesterday, it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a Zimbabwe company to supply 150,000 metric tonnes of fertiliser annually.
Coms (LON:COMS) up 9.6%. The company swung back after starting the day lower. Investors have changed their mind on the stock which said its Redstone business will make enough profit to cover the losses at Darkside.
FALLERS
Vedanta Resources (LON:VED) down 12.7%. The Indian copper, aluminium and zinc miner dropped the most on the FTSE 350 as the sell-off in mining shares continued.
Fitbug (LON:FITB) down 8.9%. Anna Gudmundson has been appointed chief executive having been interim product director of the company.
Tricor (LON:TRIC) down 8.2%. The company swung to a small profit last year on less sales as it cut costs, but admitted that it is still in need of finding a new funding source in order to continue.

RISERS
Plant Impact (LON:PIM) up 10%. The agriculture firm said sales substantially increased last year and expects pre-tax profit to be ahead of market expectations.
EMIS (LON:EMIS) up 6.3%. The healthcare service company saw pre-tax profit rise in the first half of 2015 on higher sales after acquisitions made last year proved fruitful.
Booker Group (LON:BOK) up 1.3%. US giant JP Morgan upped its price target on the grocery wholesaler to 200p from 174p after it got the green light to push ahead with its acquisition of the Londis and Budgens chains.
FALLERS
The Kellan Group (LON:KLN) down 23%. The company swung to a profit and saw sales growth of 8% but called it a day on its failing midlands business, which in April the firm had hoped to turn around.
Next (LON:NXT) down 3.75%. Broker Exane BNP Paribas cut its rating on the high bellwether to ‘underperform’ from ‘neutral’, as the BDO High Street sales tracker survey for August showed the UK high street had its worst month since November 2008.
GKN (LON:GKN) down 3.3%. The engineering company was downgraded to ‘hold’ from ‘buy’ by broker Investec which worried about its exposure to the Chinese economy.

RISERS
IS Solutions (LON:ISL) up 35%. The data analyser has signed two new contracts with financial services firms, which are expected to be worth more than £4mln in revenue with over the lives of the contracts, and £350,000 per year after. Sales in its Analytics range are “well ahead of management budget.”
Goldplat (LON:GDP) up 33%.The company has made significant progress reducing its backlog of stocks and easing its problems with third party refiner Rand, it reported today. A new electric boiler has also boosted the performance at its existing facilities to five tonnes of loaded carbon per day.
Bioventix (LON:BVXP) up 19.5%. The company said its core business remains “robust,” with sales expected to be around £4.2mln for the year, compared to £3.5mln in 2014, with pre-tax profit significantly ahead of market expectations.
FALLERS
Kodal Minerals (LON:KOD) down 36.5%. The miner said the exploration at the Grimeli project in Norway has been very encouraging, but blamed market conditions and low iron ore prices for “mixed results” in its end of year report. The company will diversify its project risk and progress cautiously with market conditions looking settled for a “prolonged period”.
Coms (LON:COMS) down 9.6%. The losses made by getting rid of its telecommunications business means the group is expected to announce a substantial loss in the first half of this year.
888 Holdings (LON:888) down 2.6%. The bid it made for rival online gambling outlet bwin.party appears to have been snubbed for GVC’s higher counter-offer. GVC have offered 129.6p per share, valuing bwin at £1.1bn.
