Amur Minerals' equity swap receipts soar with share price

Receipts from the facility so far amount to approximately £3mln.

Amur Minerals (LON:AMC) has pocketed 60% more than originally anticipated from its equity swap arrangement with Lanstead Capital with one monthly payment still outstanding.

Receipts from the facility so far amount to approximately £3mln.

Combined with £5mln received from Lanstead in the placing in July 2013 when the swap facility was set up, Amur has received more than £8mln in total, money that it has used to secure a mining permit for its huge Kun-Manie nickel deposit in Far East Russia.

Amur is one of Aim’s best performing shares in recent years and the shares soared when the licence was awarded in May.

Lanstead currently holds less than 1% of the shares in issue.
