Webis (LON:WEB) up 14.5%. Its subsidiary WatchandWager.com has been granted an Advanced Deposit Wagering (ADW) license by the Washington Horse Racing Commission.
Stellar Resources (LON:STG) up 8.57%. The company said Gold Mines of Wales, which it holds a 49% stake in, was granted an extension under its exclusive option agreement concerning an exploration license.
CLS Holdings (LON:CLI) up 6.28%. Commentators say a shortage of homes in the UK could prop up prices. The number of homes for sale has fallen short of demand since the poll, creating one of the widest gaps between buyers and sellers since at least the start of the financial crisis.
FALLERS
Kimberly Enterprises NV (LON:KBE) down 40%. First half losses widened as the company said it needs to raise funding to “meet its obligations towards its creditors.”
International Ferro (LON:IFL) down 14%. Shares continue to slide after the South African steel miner said last week it was hit by tough operating conditions in the country as well as a slowing steel demand in China. The operating loss in the second half will be similar to the first half, IFL said, sending shares lower.
Clarkson (LON:CKN) down 4.98%. The shipping services company reported a fall in pre-tax profit in the first half on higher expenses and the acquisition of rival shipping broker RS Patou ASA, adding that results would be weighted to the second half.

African Potash (LON:AFPO) up 32.8%. The company was the biggest gainer at lunch although it has had no news out since last Wednesday. Shares have been on the march since it signed a deal with Comesa – a free trade union of twenty African countries - to provide 500,000 tonnes of fertiliser over three years. Its non-executive directors agreed last week to accept shares in lieu of cash for services rendered thus far this year.
Tern (LON:TERN) up 8.57%. Shares were higher again today as the high-flying investment company said earlier this month that its portfolio has risen more than four-fold over the past 12 months. Today it announced it had issued 641,463 shares at 3p a pop and 588,640 warrants exercisable at 0.02p.
Summit Therapeutics (LON:SUMM) up 6.88%. The drug developer said its Phase 1b modified diet clinical trial of the drug SMT C1100 for Duchenne muscular dystrophy met its primary objective with half the patients achieving desired plasma levels when following specific dietary requirements.
FALLERS
Ascent resources (LON:AST) down 33.33%. Chief executive Len Reece has resigned from the company as it continues to seek funding.
Ophir Energy (LON:OPHR) down 6.7%. The company was hit by the low oil price which fell again today.
iEnergizer (LON:IPO) down 6.1%. The company issued 22mln shares to raised £1.1mln in order to pay off part of its loan facility it entered into just over two years ago.

Cellcast (LON:CLTV) up 16.3%. Reports speculated that the company and Google are in advanced talks to use Cellcast’s internet telephony technology. The company have since denied the rumours and know of no reason for the share price hike.
Gable Holdings (LON:GAH) up 14.47%. In a trading update, the company said it is trading in line with expectations and said its solvency capital preparations, which are advancing well, will not include an approach to the market to raise equity capital.
CentralNic (LON:CNIC) up 7.64%. The firm is now the number one wholesale distributor - or ‘registry backend’ - for new top level internet domains after Google adopted its .xyz domain for its new corporate website for its new company Alphabet.
FALLERS
Red Emperor Resources (LON:RMP) down 58.3%. The company said it failed to find commercial oil at its Hawkeye Well. Having spent US$25mln (£15.9mln) on the project, the company has £5.66mln left to identify new opportunities.
Minera IRL (LON:MIRL) down 21.5%. The Ollachea community, which encompasses the company's Ollachea gold project, have pulled its backing of the project development until some of its concerns are addressed.
Safestay (LON:SSTY) down 12.6%., The company will raise 9.3mln from a share placing to contribute to buying a £14.9mln hostel and student accommodation property in Edinburgh. Shares resumed trading at 8am this morning having been suspended since 22 July.
