Corero Network Security PLC (AIM:CNS, OTCQB:DDOSF) shares jumped as high as 28% to 10.9p after the cybersecurity specialist reported a sharp rise in first-half revenue, swung into profit and upgraded its full-year outlook.
Revenue for the six months to 30 June 2026 climbed 42% to $15.5 million from $10.9 million a year earlier, driven by new customer wins and contract expansions. EBITDA improved to $2.6 million from a $1.4 million loss.
Pre-tax profit was $1.4 million, reversing a $2.4 million loss in the corresponding period last year.
Annualised recurring revenue increased 12% to $24.1 million, while order intake rose 14% to $14.3 million. Customer retention remained high at 96%.
Momentum has continued into the second half, including a $1.4 million three-year contract with a Tier-1 US telecommunications group and a $3.4 million five-year deal with a Tier-1 UK telecoms provider.
Chief executive Carl Herberger said demand for DDoS protection was continuing to grow as attacks became increasingly sophisticated.
Following the stronger start to the second half, management now expects full-year revenue to exceed market expectations and EBITDA to significantly exceed forecasts.
Corero said market consensus currently stands at $29.2 million for revenue and $3.3 million for EBITDA.
