Miivo AI (TSX-V:MIVO) announced that it has renewed its SOC 2 Type II certification following an independent third-party audit of the company’s security controls.
The certification confirms that Miivo’s controls continued to operate effectively during the audit period. The assessment reviewed the company’s systems, policies and procedures against the Trust Services Criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
SOC 2 Type II certification evaluates both the design of an organization’s controls and their operating effectiveness over a defined period. Miivo noted that the renewal provides customers, partners and other stakeholders with independent assurance regarding its information security practices.
The company’s security framework supports its portfolio of AI-powered business intelligence, lead generation and customer insights products, as well as its managed services. Those solutions can involve the processing of financial, operational and customer information.
Miivo said that the renewed certification could support its work with organizations that require established security and compliance standards when assessing technology providers.
The company also plans to continue strengthening its security practices through regular independent assessments, employee training, proactive monitoring and investment in its technology infrastructure.
