American Resources Corp (NASDAQ:AREC) has joined the Critical Minerals Institute (CMI) as its first Platinum member, the company said Thursday.
As CMI's inaugural Platinum member, American Resources will join the Institute's global executive network and gain access to the Critical Minerals Platform, which offers independent mineral pricing, market forecasts, corporate intelligence and global supply chain data.
"The future of critical minerals will be defined by execution, not simply strategy," said Mark Jensen, CEO of American Resources. "Building secure, commercially sustainable supply chains requires connecting feedstocks, industrial processing, advanced refining, capital, customers and government partners."
Jensen will speak at CMI Summit 6 in Toronto in May 2027, where government leaders, investors, policymakers and industry executives will discuss supply chain security, industrial policy and financing under the theme Critical Minerals Diplomacy in a Fragmenting Global Economy.
"American Resources is precisely the type of commercially focused and strategically ambitious organization that the CMI Platinum membership was created to support," said Tracy Hughes, Executive Director of CMI.
Dr Mark Andrich, CEO of the Critical Minerals Platform, added the partnership will help bring independent pricing data to more decision-makers in the industry.
