Blockmate Ventures Inc (TSX-V:MATE, OTCQB:MATEF, FRA:8MH) has submitted a zoning application for its Wyoming AI data centre development and announced the launch of a Bitcoin cloud mining product from investee company Hivello.
The zoning application seeks approvals for approximately 40 acres of land for data centre use, following engineering, surveying, infrastructure and local engagement work carried out in recent months.
Subject to zoning approval, final site design, power availability, permitting and other development requirements, the company believes the site could support a data centre facility of up to approximately 200 MW.
Blockmate said it will continue working with local authorities and technical advisers as the application progresses.
The venture builder, which focuses on AI, energy and digital infrastructure, is also evaluating additional opportunities across the United States, Canada and Australia. It has identified two potential projects currently in preliminary discussions, though no binding agreements have been signed and there is no assurance either transaction will proceed.
The company said its broader strategy is to build a pipeline of infrastructure opportunities capable of generating long-term revenue and shareholder value, rather than relying on a single development project.
Separately, Hivello has launched its Bitcoin cloud mining product, giving customers access to Bitcoin mining without the need to purchase, host or operate physical mining equipment. Third-party infrastructure providers will manage the underlying physical mining capacity and operations.
The launch marks the first step in Hivello's broader infrastructure product strategy, which is expected to expand into GPU and AI compute products using the same customer-access model. Blockmate said Hivello provides a complementary customer and distribution platform for infrastructure-backed products, with potential longer-term strategic alignment to its own AI and digital infrastructure activities.
"Submitting the zoning application is another important step in advancing our Wyoming AI data centre development. At the same time, Hivello has launched its Bitcoin cloud mining product, providing a foundation for its planned expansion into GPU and AI compute products,” said Domenic Carosa, chairman of Blockmate.
"Our strategy is broader than any single project. We are actively building a pipeline of infrastructure opportunities across the United States, Canada and Australia, with the objective of creating multiple avenues for revenue and shareholder value.”
