GoldHaven Resources Corp (CSE:GOH, OTCQB:GHVNF) has commenced its first drill program at the Magno project in northwestern British Columbia, targeting the historic Kuhn tungsten zone.
The company owns 100% of the project, which spans approximately 37,000 hectares and is considered prospective for tungsten, silver, lead, zinc, copper and other critical minerals.
The drill campaign marks a shift from surface exploration to testing beneath the ground at the site.
Historical drilling at Kuhn reportedly returned intervals including 13 meters grading 0.55% tungsten trioxide, and 4 meters grading 1.32% tungsten trioxide and 0.26% molybdenum disulfide.
The work at Kuhn and the nearby Dead Goat area produced an estimate of approximately 616,500 tonnes grading 0.48% tungsten trioxide.
GoldHaven says it is not treating the historical estimate as current.
Rob Birmingham, president and chief executive of GoldHaven, said the historical tungsten results at Kuhn provided a strong foundation for the company’s first drill program.
The 2026 program will apply modern geological and geophysical techniques to test the historic tungsten zones.
Kuhn represents the first phase of a broader drill program evaluating multiple styles of mineralization across the approximately 37,000-hectare Magno Project.
