United Parcel Service (United Parcel Service Inc (NYSE:UPS), the Atlanta-based package delivery and logistics company, will invest more than $2 billion across its international, healthcare and supply chain businesses from 2024 through 2028.
UPS plans to open a new hub at Clark International Airport in the Philippines in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by a facility in Barrie, Ontario in 2027 and an air hub in Hong Kong in 2028.
The expansion includes 27 temperature-controlled freight cross-dock facilities that provide short-term storage between air and ground movements while maintaining specific temperature requirements.
UPS has also opened a technology-enabled logistics center in Taiwan and expanded its Incheon air hub in South Korea with advanced automated sorting systems.
In Amsterdam, a UPS Supply Chain Solutions facility now combines freight, brokerage and cold-chain services under one roof.
The carrier operates flights five times a week between Paris and Hong Kong and between Shenzhen and Sydney.
Kate Gutmann, UPS executive vice president and president of international, healthcare and supply chain solutions, said the investments bring air, ground, brokerage and distribution together with fewer handoffs and less complexity.
UPS offers Saturday delivery in eight European markets and is the only integrated carrier in Canada providing automatic Saturday ground residential delivery, along with optional Saturday commercial delivery.
UPS reported $88.7 billion in revenue for 2025 and employs approximately 460,000 people across more than 200 countries and territories.
