International Graphite completes $4.4 million placement as cornerstone investors join register

International Graphite Ltd (ASX:IG6, FRA:H99, OTC:IGRPF) has completed its $4.4 million placement, bringing new cornerstone investors onto the company’s register and providing additional funding for its graphite processing operations in Western Australia and Europe.

The placement was originally announced in June and July 2026 and received shareholder approval on August 3.

International Graphite has now allotted 58,816,313 new shares to Tranche 2 investors, along with 55 million 2-year options exercisable at $0.08 per share to placement participants.

The company intends to seek approval for the options to be quoted on the Australian Securities Exchange.

New investors join register

Participants in Tranche 2 included Xcelsior Capital and a family office associated with the London-based investment firm, alongside existing longer-term shareholders and company directors.

Xcelsior Capital is an investment and advisory firm focused on critical metals and minerals, including opportunities associated with supply-chain resilience, national security and the energy transition.

It is also the investment partner of Wogen Group, a UK-headquartered global metals and minerals trading business.

Proceeds from the placement would support development of its graphite processing operations in Western Australia and Europe, as well as provide general working capital.

Collie development activity increases

The company also reported increased activity at its Collie Micronising Facility in Western Australia, with earthworks and civil works accelerating over the past month.

International Graphite has met Milestone 3 under the Western Australian Government’s $4.5 million Collie Industrial Transition Fund grant and expects to receive a further drawdown in the coming weeks.

Following receipt of that payment, approximately $2.5 million of the grant would remain available for the project.

The Collie facility forms part of International Graphite’s strategy to establish mid-stream graphite processing operations in Australia and Europe.

Other interests

The company is also developing processing capacity through the Alkeemia/IG6 joint venture at Porto Marghera in Italy, with the broader platform targeting industrial, energy storage, advanced manufacturing and defence applications.

International Graphite also owns the Springdale Graphite Project in Western Australia, which the company sees as a potential long-term source of feedstock as its downstream processing operations expand.
