1911 Gold reports high gold recoveries from True North and Ogama-Rockland test work

1911 Gold Corp (TSX-V:AUMB, OTCQB:AUMBF, FRA:2KY) has reported metallurgical test results showing gold recoveries of 93.7% from a sample at its True North Gold Project and 96.3% from preliminary testing on material from its Ogama-Rockland Gold Project, both located on the company’s Rice Lake property in southeast Manitoba.

At True North, the company tested a 130-kilogram sample from the L10 Zone on Level 16, with a measured head grade of 1.82 grams per tonne gold. The test work produced an average total gold recovery of 93.7%, with 51% recovered through gravity concentration and another 44.5% reporting to the flotation concentrate. Leaching of the reground flotation concentrate averaged 95.5% gold recovery.

The company also reported that the True North material had a Bond ball mill work index of 14.1 kilowatt hours per tonne, placing it at the lower end of the medium hardness range for ball milling. Environmental testing indicated no potential for acid generation or measurable deleterious metal leaching.

1911 Gold CEO Shaun Heinrichs said that the results confirmed high gold recoveries at True North, with a significant portion of the gold recoverable through gravity concentration and the remainder leachable from the flotation concentrate.

“Results confirmed moderate reagent consumptions, good residence time and highlighted opportunities to improve flotation and leach efficiencies and total gold recoveries,” Heinrichs said.

He added that further test work and trade-off studies are planned as part of the company’s proposed test mining and bulk sampling program.

At Ogama-Rockland, preliminary metallurgical testing on a composite drill-core sample returned a calculated head grade of 4.65 g/t gold and total recovery of 96.3% using a gravity-flotation-regrind-leach flowsheet. Gravity concentration recovered 82% of the gold, while leaching of the reground flotation concentrate recovered 97.7% of the gold captured in that concentrate.

The Ogama-Rockland test used a nominal primary grind of 101 microns and a regrind of 21 microns, with a 72-hour leach period. The company noted that the preliminary results will require additional testing across different host-rock types and head grades to assess variability and determine optimal operating conditions.

The results come as 1911 Gold continues work to recommission the True North mill. The company reported that a successful test run of the primary ball mill was completed on August 10 following installation of new liners, lifters and a gear lubrication system. The work is being carried out in preparation for planned test mining and milling later this year.

Additionally, the company has granted 125,000 deferred share units to four directors under its Long-Term Incentive Plan in respect of director fees incurred during the second quarter of 2026.

Shares of 1911 Gold had gained 5% by midday Thursday.
