McLaren Minerals Ltd (ASX:MML, FRA:U770) has reported further strong assay results from its 2026 drilling program at the wholly owned McLaren Titanium Project in Western Australia, with 179 holes averaging 4.96% heavy minerals (HM) across 2,835 metres of sampled intervals.
The results came from complete sampled intervals averaging 15.8 metres thick, with every reported interval starting at surface and no HM cut-off applied.
Of the 179 holes, 155, or 87%, averaged at least 4% HM, while 82 holes, or 46%, returned at least 5% HM and 24 holes, or 13%, averaged at least 6% HM.
Broad mineralised intervals from surface
Broad mineralisation was common across the latest batch, with 101 holes returning complete sampled intervals of at least 15 metres and 46 holes returning at least 21 metres.
Among the stronger results were:
- 30 metres from surface at 6.17% HM in MAC271;
- 27 metres from surface at 6.51% HM in MAC273;
- 27 metres from surface at 6.44% HM in MAC412;
- 27 metres from surface at 6.08% HM in MAC272; and
- 21 metres from surface at 6.13% HM in MAC275.
The highest complete-interval average was 7.19% HM over 12 metres in MAC417, while the highest individual 1-metre assay was 14.54% HM in MAC243 from 8 metres to 9 metres.
Managing director Simon Finnis said the results “reinforce the consistent grade profile we are seeing at McLaren”, pointing to the repeatability emerging across the deposit.
Results to feed updated resource and feasibility work
The 2026 drilling program is designed to improve confidence in McLaren’s existing 529-million-tonne indicated and inferred Mineral Resource, support future Ore Reserve estimation and Bankable Feasibility Study work, and test opportunities for resource growth.
The current Mineral Resource stands at 529 million tonnes grading 4.50% HM, including 249 million tonnes in the indicated category at 4.70% HM and 280 million tonnes inferred at 4.20% HM.
McLaren will now receive and validate the remaining 2026 assay results before incorporating the full drilling dataset into an updated geological model and Mineral Resource estimate.
Metallurgical test work and technical studies are also progressing to support future Ore Reserve and Bankable Feasibility Study activities.
