Market movers: Moderna, Marvell, Lowe's, Grey Matters...

Grey Matters Health (CSE:GREY, OTCQB:AGNPD, FRA:AGW0) announced that it has signed a professional services agreement with ProScan Reading Services to interpret brain PET scans from its planned NovaScan Neuroimaging Clinics location in Davie, Florida.

The clinic, which Grey Matters expects to open by September 30, will use ProScan’s fellowship-trained, board-certified subspecialty radiologists to interpret scans for patients being evaluated for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological conditions, including frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson’s disease and Lewy body dementia. The scans will also be used for select neuro-oncology applications.

Marvell Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MRVL) issued Alphabet's Google a warrant to buy up to 58.97 million shares at $206.58 apiece, expanding a custom chip partnership between the two companies.

The warrant would let Google purchase shares equal to roughly 6.7% of Marvell's shares outstanding if fully exercised, a stake worth about $12.2 billion at the strike price.

Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:MRNA, XETRA:0QF) and Merck & Co Inc (NYSE:MRK, XETRA:6MK) said Wednesday their personalized mRNA cancer vaccine, intismeran, combined with Merck's Keytruda slowed melanoma recurrence and spread in a Phase 3 trial, in what would be the first randomized late-stage validation of a personalized neoantigen cancer vaccine.

Moderna shares jumped 150% Wednesday morning, while Merck rose 10.3%.

Estee Lauder Companies Inc (NYSE:EL, XETRA:ELAA) shares jumped more than 15% on Wednesday after the beauty group posted fourth-quarter results that beat Wall Street estimates and raised its profit margin outlook for fiscal 2027.

The company reported revenue of $3.6 billion for its fiscal fourth quarter, up 6% year-over-year and ahead of analyst estimates of $3.54 billion. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.39, double the year-ago figure, while adjusted operating income rose 95% to $267 million.

Pinewood Technologies Group PLC (LSE:PINE, OTCQX:PINWF, FRA:0PD0) has agreed a £545 million cash takeover by a private equity firm, the latest London-listed company to be picked off as buyers hunt for value across the UK market.

The automotive software group, which trades as Pinewood.AI, will be acquired by UK Piston Bidco, a vehicle backed by Ridgeview Partners, the San Francisco technology private equity firm.

American Resources Corp (NASDAQ:AREC) said its minority holding ReElement Technologies Corporation has received a Minor Source air permit covering all planned production lines at its Marion, Indiana Supersite.

The permit clears one of the final non-commercial hurdles to commissioning the facility, which now shifts ReElement’s focus to equipment installation, commissioning and commercial production.

Lowe's Companies Inc (NYSE:LOW) trimmed its full-year sales and profit forecasts after discretionary home-improvement spending remained under pressure, even as the retailer topped Wall Street estimates for the second quarter.

The company now expects fiscal 2026 revenue of $92 billion, down from its earlier range of $92 billion to $94 billion. Comparable sales are now seen flat for the year, compared with a prior forecast of flat to 2% growth.

Empire Metals Ltd (AIM:EEE, OTCQX:EPMLF) has more than tripled its mineral resource at its Pitfield Titanium Project in Western Australia - making it the world’s largest titanium resource.

After the mineral resource estimate (MRE), the company upgraded its resource 8.16 billion tonnes at 4.3% titanium dioxide (TiO₂), containing 349 million tonnes of TiO₂.
