ECR Minerals (LON:ECR) up 11.8%. It issued 111.5mln shares at 0.0575p a pop to convert an outstanding US$100,000 to YA Global Master. It leaves a total of US$835,712 to pay.
Old Mutual (LON:OML) up 5%. The financial services company reported a 19% rise in adjusted operating profit in the first half of this year, and hiked its interim dividend by 8%
FALLERS
Teathers Financial (LON:TEA) down 16.1%. Shares rallied late in the day after easing earlier on the news that Jonathan Rowland sold some of his stake in the company.
Premier Oil (LON:PMO) down 5.9%. The oil price dropped again today keeping it below US$45 a barrel.

RISERS
Stratex (LON:STI) up 28.5%. Shares have been on the rise since the company said yesterday that it expects to complete construction of the Altintepe gold mine in Turkey imminently with the first gold pour on track for the end of next month.
Enterprise Inns (LON:ETI) up 4.88%. A rise in sales of 0.5%, when analysts had expected a flat figure, sent shares higher. It had seven previous quarters of growth, and said good weather encouraged people to visit the pub.
Inmarsat (LON:ISAT) up 4%. The company hiked its dividend by 5% despite a fall in sales and profits hit by delays to the launch for its Global Xpress satellite and in turn the launch of its Global Xpress global commercial service.
FALLERS
Lonmin (LON:LMI) down 6.6%. The miner continues to struggle as the platinum price drops lower and lower, ducking below US$950 dollars.
Aggreko (LON:AGK) down 2.2%. The company warned of a tough year ahead as it continues with its restructuring to combat the weaker oil and gas market, increased competition and geopolitical uncertainty.
RSA Insurance (LON:RSA) down 1.6%. The takeover target was lower despite reporting progress in its recovery drive and reinstating its dividend. A report says Zurich will walk away from the deal if financial hurdles aren’t met.

Cobham (LON:COB) up 8.3%. First half sales were boosted by an uptick in demand for its systems and components used in satellites and communications. Revenue rose 26% to £1bn in the first half of the year.
Sound Oil (LON:SOU) up 7%. The company said a gas sales deal has now been signed for the Nervesa gas field with Shell Energy Italia.
Cloudbuy (LON:CBUY) up 5.8%. The AIM-listed firm has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of the city of Yiwu in China to help its wholesale marketplace promote itself overseas.
FALLERS
Quindell (LON:QPP) down 29%. The Serious Fraud Office has opened an investigation which Quindell understands relates to past business and accounting practices at the company. The company also reported a £238mln loss as shares resumed trading for the first time in over a month today.
Avocet Mining (LON:AVM) down 9.4%. The company drew down funds under the Elliott loan facility yesterday. The loan was for up to US$2.4mln.
Tullow Oil (LON:TLW) down 3.74%. The oil price has dropped below US$44 a barrel.
