ACDC Metals locks in maiden Mount Jackson drilling campaign for Q4 2026

ACDC Metals Ltd (ASX:ADC) has contracted FTE Drilling USA Inc for its maiden drilling campaign at the Mount Jackson Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, with up to 2,500 metres of reverse circulation drilling targeted to begin in Q4 2026.

The company is permitting around 15 drill holes across the Pegasus and three Shaft zones, where drilling will test extensions to known gold-silver mineralisation and, at 3 Shaft, assess a target that has never previously been drilled.

Ahead of drilling, KLM Geoscience will undertake a 12-line-kilometre Controlled Source Audio Magnetotellurics (CSAMT) survey across the two target areas, beginning in September. The survey is designed to refine targets generated from recent aeromagnetic and radiometric work.

Drilling to test Pegasus extensions and 3 Shaft target

The RC program will focus initially on extending mineralisation at Pegasus to the north, east and south.

Previous drilling by Pegasus Gold and First American Silver was generally shallow, with total depths typically below 150 metres and many holes ending in mineralisation. More recent rock-chip sampling at Pegasus returned gold grades of up to 2.35 g/t.

At the 3 Shaft Zone, drilling will follow up surface sampling of up to 14.9% copper and 17.7 ppm silver near historical shafts associated with mining in the early 1900s.

The zone has not previously been drill-tested, giving ACDC Metals an opportunity to assess the mineralisation at depth for the first time.

Chief executive officer Tom Davidson said the upcoming work would build on historical results while improving the company's understanding of the mineralised system.

“The CSAMT program starts in September and will provide the team with better information to refine and prioritise drill targets,” Davidson said.

“Our maiden program will build on the historical results reported on 30 April 2026. The program will aim to confirm previous mineralisation, test extents, and hopefully validate our understanding of the system.”

Mount Jackson Project

Mount Jackson is within Nevada's Walker Lane, a mineralised belt with a long history of gold and silver production and continuing exploration and development activity.

The company is progressing environmental permitting with the US Bureau of Land Management and expects existing access roads and previously cleared drill pads to reduce the amount of site preparation required, as well as associated bonding and reclamation costs.

Next steps

ACDC Metals expects the CSAMT survey to begin in September 2026, followed by completion of BLM environmental permitting and release of the planned drill-hole layout.

Access-track and drill-pad works are scheduled through the December quarter, with the 2,500-metre maiden RC drilling campaign targeted to start during Q4 2026, subject to permitting and site preparation.
