Shares in the low cost airline easyJet (LON:EZJ) were left in a holding pattern after the latest passenger numbers failed to get the stock moving.
In July it carried 7.04mln passengers as the holiday season kicked off, representing a rise of 9.4% on the year earlier. The 12 month rolling total was 67.7mln.
The load factor, which reveals how full its distinctive orange planes were, was 94.3% in July - 1.4 points up on a year ago and well ahead of the year-to-date average of 91.4%.
The stock, which has risen 33% in the past year, was barely changed in the opening few minutes of trade at £17.10.
Deutsche Bank reckons there is enough headroom for easyJet to fly further as it reiterated its ‘buy’ advice and £19.15 price target.
