Dune Oil completes contractor site visits at Gabar Block ahead of seismic program

Dune Oil Corp (CSE:DUNE, OTCQB:TRLEF, FRA:Z620) said prospective seismic contractors visited its Gabar Block in southeastern Türkiye on July 29 and 30 as part of preparations for a planned 2D seismic acquisition program.

Contractors and service providers attended the visits along with Dune's technical and operations teams and its partners. They reviewed field conditions, access routes, logistics and equipment requirements across the survey area.

The company said the visits complete the technical work needed for the seismic tender.

Contractors are now preparing technical and commercial proposals, and Dune expects to award the acquisition contract and announce a mobilization date in due course.

The seismic program is intended to improve subsurface imaging across the block, refine existing exploration targets and inform future drilling decisions.

Dune said it expects to announce its next drilling locations once the program is complete.

Formerly known as Trillion Energy, Dune has an agreement to earn up to a 29% working interest in the M47 oil exploration block, which covers the C3 and C4 licences in the Cudi-Gabar petroleum province of southeastern Türkiye. To earn that stake, Dune would fund US$15 million in work commitments across 2026 and 2027.
