SportsHero expands HeroPlay offering through Razer supply agreement

SportsHero Ltd (ASX:SHO, OTC:NIROF) has struck a supply agreement with global gaming brand Razer that will add more than 1,000 gaming-related digital products and services to its HeroPlay platform, broadening the company’s reach beyond mobile casual gaming into console, PC and other mass-market gaming segments.

The agreement covers gaming top-up vouchers and e-pins for titles and platforms including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Free Fire, PUBG, Razer Gold, PlayStation Store, Xbox and Roblox.

The agreement marked the first major supply deal for the wider HeroPlay gaming and consumer engagement ecosystem it is developing with telecommunications partners across Southeast Asia.

Razer deal broadens HeroPlay product mix

Under the commercial model, SportsHero will receive commissions or fees on products sold through HeroPlay, with no minimum expenditure or recurring cost attached to the agreement.

The company will retain the full margin on sales through its own channel, while margins generated through telco channels will be shared with the relevant telecommunications partner and may vary by product or channel.

Razer brings a substantial existing gaming ecosystem to the partnership, including its Razer Gold payment platform.

Razer Gold services more than 42,000 games and entertainment titles, while Razer’s wider software platform has more than 200 million users.

SportsHero CEO Tom Lapping said the partnership represented the next stage in the company’s strategy to expand HeroPlay beyond its initial subscription gaming offering.

“We’ve built the core HeroPlay platform, partnered with major telcos and proven we can drive strong traffic and consumer engagement with our hyper-casual subscription gaming product,” Lapping said.

“This agreement with Razer is the first in what we expect will be a series of strategic supply partnerships as we continue to expand the HeroPlay Gaming Universe.”

Building out the HeroPlay gaming universe

SportsHero launched its HeroPlay mobile casual gaming subscription platform in November 2025 as the first product in its broader HeroPlay Gaming Universe strategy.

The platform was launched in partnership with Indosat, Indonesia’s second-largest telecommunications provider with around 94 million customers, and SportsHero said the first 6 months generated encouraging subscriber acquisition and engagement metrics.

The company is now seeking to extend HeroPlay into vouchers and gift cards, in-app purchases, in-app advertising and integrated gaming webstores.

The following diagram shows this intended buildout, with the existing subscription business and newly added vouchers and rewards category forming part of a broader platform spanning webstores, advertising and in-app purchases.

The Razer agreement is SportsHero’s first move into the vouchers, gift cards and digital rewards segment and gives the platform access to a catalogue of more than 1,000 products and services.

Next steps

Integration of Razer products will begin immediately, with SportsHero expecting the products to become available for purchase through HeroPlay during the current quarter.

SportsHero is also in commercial discussions with additional gaming publishers, brands and content providers across several product categories as it looks to expand both its supplier network and telco distribution footprint in Southeast Asia.
