GBM Resources extends prospective gold host 700 metres south of 309 deposit at Twin Hills

GBM Resources Ltd (ASX:GBM, OTC:GBMRF, FRA:36G0) has confirmed that the key gold-hosting breccia sequence at its Twin Hills Gold Project in Queensland extends at least 700 metres south of the existing 309 mineral resource, expanding the area considered prospective for further gold mineralisation.

Step-out drilling at the Stella prospect has intersected the prospective Milled Matrix Breccia (BXM) horizon in the first deep holes drilled outside the existing mineral resource envelope, supporting GBM’s revised geological model for a broader mineralised system across Twin Hills.

Gold mineralisation was recorded in each of the holes drilled, including a best result of 8 metres at 1.31 g/t gold from 126 metres in THDH005, including 1 metre at 2.18 g/t from 131 metres. Around 60% of the metres drilled at Stella remain to be assayed.

Drilling supports larger gold system

GBM said its Stage 2 drilling program had changed its interpretation of the geology at Twin Hills, with the BXM now considered a laterally continuous sedimentary horizon rather than a series of isolated mineralised bodies.

Drilling at Stella has confirmed the BXM continues beneath the Coreshed prospect and is interpreted to extend at least 700 metres south of the 309 deposit. Historical drilling at Stella was generally too shallow to test the BXM horizon, although several holes returned anomalous gold within the overlying andesite sequence.

GBM now interprets those historical intersections as potential leakage from the underlying mineralised system.

Chief executive officer Daniel Hastings said the latest drilling indicated Twin Hills could host a substantially larger prospective system than previously recognised.

“Rather than isolated mineralised bodies, we now recognise a laterally extensive mineralised host sequence extending well beyond the existing 309 MRE.”

He said the initial Stella drilling had validated that interpretation and demonstrated the potential for mineralisation beyond the current resource boundaries.

The long section on page 4 of the announcement shows the interpreted BXM host extending from the 309 deposit through Coreshed toward Stella, with the recent holes testing the sequence farther south.

Twin Hills drilling program

GBM has completed around 25,000 metres of resource-development drilling at the 309 and Lone Sister deposits since February 2026, representing about 50% of its planned Stage 2 program.

Drilling has returned intercepts outside the currently modelled mineralisation at both deposits, while approximately 11,500 metres of completed drilling — including 9,500 metres at 309 and 1,500 metres at Lone Sister — remains subject to pending assays.

The company said laboratory turnaround times had been affected by borax shortages, increased sample volumes and staffing constraints. Samples have now been dispatched to 2 laboratories in Queensland, with results expected to begin flowing again within the next fortnight.

Twin Hills currently hosts a mineral resource of about 999,200 ounces of gold, comprising the 309 and Lone Sister deposits.

Next steps

GBM will continue systematic step-out drilling along the interpreted BXM horizon, particularly between the northern extent of 309, Coreshed and Stella.

Pending assay results from around 11,500 metres of completed drilling, including about 60% of the 1,315 metres drilled across 4 exploration holes at Stella, will be incorporated into updated geological models and used to guide further drilling.

The company is targeting growth of the existing Twin Hills mineral resource as well as the identification of new mineralised zones across the broader project area.

About GBM Resources

GBM Resources is a Queensland-focused gold exploration and development company with projects across the Drummond Basin.

Its Twin Hills, Yandan and Mt Coolon projects collectively host approximately 1.84 million ounces of gold in mineral resources, with Twin Hills the company’s largest resource at about 1 million ounces.
