PRO MEDICUS LIMITED (ASX:PME) has secured a 7-year, A$23 million contract with St. Luke’s Health System in the US for the deployment of its cloud-based Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform across 3 states.
The agreement, signed through wholly owned US subsidiary Visage Imaging Inc, will cover Visage 7 Viewer and Visage 7 Workflow and is based on Pro Medicus’ transaction-based licensing model, providing scope for potential upside over the contract term.
A$23 million healthcare imaging contract
St. Luke’s Health System is headquartered in Boise (NYSE:BZ), Idaho, and operates across southern Idaho, eastern Oregon and northern Nevada.
The not-for-profit healthcare provider spans 10 medical centres, including St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, with St. Luke’s Boise (NYSE:BZ) Medical Center serving as its flagship hospital.
Under the agreement, Pro Medicus will implement its Visage 7 platform throughout the St. Luke’s network, establishing a single, unified enterprise imaging platform.
Chief executive officer Dr Sam Hupert said the agreement added St. Luke’s to a growing list of customers adopting the company’s fully cloud-based offering.
Visage 7 cloud deployment
The contract will use Pro Medicus’ established cloud-based implementation process, with rollout planning due to begin immediately.
Go-live is targeted for the first quarter of calendar 2027.
Hupert said adoption of the company’s CloudPACS strategy was continuing to grow in the North American healthcare IT market and highlighted a pipeline spanning tier-1 academic medical centres, integrated delivery networks and private imaging groups.
Next steps
Pro Medicus and St. Luke’s will now begin planning the implementation and rollout of Visage 7 across the health system ahead of the targeted Q1 2027 go-live.
The transaction-based structure means the ultimate value of the agreement could exceed the stated A$23 million contract value depending on usage.
