Janus Electric sets August 27 for FY26 results as North American expansion gathers pace

Janus Electric Holdings Ltd (ASX:JNS) will release its FY26 full-year financial results on August 27, giving investors their next look at the company’s performance as it scales its heavy-vehicle electrification business and expands its order book in North America.

The company will hold an investor briefing at 10.30am AEST on the same day to provide an update on its progress following release of the results. Shareholders wishing to participate are required to pre-register for the call here.

Results follow strong period of expansion

The FY26 numbers come after a period of increased commercial activity for Janus, particularly in North America.

The company closed the June quarter with its North American order book increased to 112 truck conversions, including around A$55 million of conditional orders covering 83 conversions in the US.

Janus is also targeting 50–75 converted electric trucks on the road by December 31, 2026 as it moves from product development and early deployment toward broader commercial execution.

Janus subsequently secured A$7.68 million through a placement of 32 million shares at A$0.24 each, with proceeds earmarked for supply chain and working capital requirements, North American infrastructure, customer support, vehicle deliveries and continued market development.

That raise followed an earlier A$4.5 million placement in May, which was directed toward battery supply, inventory for trucks in production, conversion kit manufacturing and expansion in markets including Australia, New Zealand, the US and Canada.

Scaling battery-swap model

Janus has been shifting its business model toward manufacturing conversion kits that can be deployed through regional partners, rather than relying solely on directly converting trucks itself.

The strategy is designed to increase the scalability of its platform, with the company targeting opportunities across Australia and North America and building out a dealer-led conversion network. Proactive previously reported that Janus had identified a sales pipeline of around A$1 billion, while management has highlighted a near-term pipeline target of at least 500 conversion kits.

The company’s technology combines truck conversion kits with swappable battery systems, charging and battery-swap infrastructure and fleet management software.

What to watch in the FY26 results

The August 27 release should provide investors with an updated picture of Janus’ financial position as it moves into a more capital-intensive commercial expansion phase.

Attention is likely to centre on progress converting its growing North American order book into deliveries and revenue, the rollout of its dealer-led model, battery and conversion-kit supply, and the deployment of supporting infrastructure.

Investors will also be looking for further detail on how the recent capital raisings are being deployed and the company’s progress toward its target of having 50–75 converted electric trucks operating by the end of 2026.

Next steps

Janus will release its FY26 results on Thursday, August 27, 2026, followed by the investor briefing at 10.30am AEST.

The results will provide the next formal update on the company’s financial performance and its progress scaling deployments across Australia and North America.
