Immunic Inc (NASDAQ:IMUX, FRA:10VA) has named Elena Ridloff to its board of directors, the biotechnology company said Monday.
Ridloff currently serves as CFO at Sionna Therapeutics. She previously held the same role at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, where she helped raise $600 million in capital and supported the company's commercial expansion and pipeline growth.
Earlier in her career, Ridloff built the investor relations function at Alexion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ALXN), led consulting firm BIOVISIO as CEO, and worked as a Managing Director at hedge fund Maverick Capital, focusing on healthcare and life sciences investments.
Michael W. Bonney, chair of Immunic's board, said Ridloff has a strong record of guiding companies through periods of major growth. “We are delighted to welcome her to the Board and look forward to the valuable insights and perspectives she will bring.”
The appointment comes as Immunic works toward several late-stage milestones for its lead candidate, vidofludimus calcium.
Immunic CEO Erik Lundgren said top-line data from the company's Phase 3 ENSURE trials in relapsing multiple sclerosis are expected by year-end, alongside plans to begin a confirmatory Phase 3 program in progressive MS.
