RISERS
Tern (LON:TERN) up 21.8%. Cloud and mobile IT investment company said the value of its portfolio has risen more than four-fold over the past 12 months, with total assets at end June of £1.2mln compared to £285,000 a year ago.
Wizz Air (LON:WIZZ) up 4.7%. Passenger numbers soared 20% for July compared to the same month last year. Passenger numbers lifted to 1.97mln from 1.64mln.
FALLERS
Jubilee Platinum (LON:JLP) down 13%. The company raised £2.4 mln in a share placing.
Travis Perkins (LON:TPK) down 2.7%. Citigroup cut its rating on the stock to a ‘neutral’ from ‘buy’ saying the valuation is now full.

RISERS
Stratex (LON:STI) up 11%. The company said it expects to complete construction of the Altintepe gold mine in Turkey imminently with the first gold pour on track for the end of next month.
Rosslyn Data Technologies (LON:RDT) up 8%. The company revealed it had won a contract with an unnamed Fortune 500 company that will replace its own analytics platform with Rosslyn’s RAPid cloud-based system. Chief executive Charles Clarke called the deal an “excellent step forward.”
BHP Billiton (LON:BLT) up 3.8%. The miner was one of three to be upgraded by Liberum, albeit begrudgingly, as it is now “approaching plausible fair value” following prolonged decline.
FALLERS
Spirent Communications (LON:SPT) down 16.5%. The company said profits for the year would be “materially below our expectations” due to plans for new products and acquisitions after a US$13.9mln first half profit in 2014 swung to a US$2.2mln loss in the six months to June.
Spirax-Sarco (LON:SPX) down 7.7%. First half pre-tax profit fell 10% to £57.3mln after £8.2mln in exceptional costs from the start-up of operations in India, currency headwinds and restructuring of its UK business.
Rotork (LON:ROR) down 4.3%. Shares dropped again after the company produced poor figures yesterday. It will also have been hurt by its Spirax’s results above, as it has just bought the company’s M&M International from it for €9.7mln. Credit Suisse and JPMorgan both piled on the misery by cutting their price targets on the company today as well.

Filtronic (LON:FTC) up 45.3%. The electronic component producer for the telecoms industry has resolved a technical issue with its antenna product and signed a US$265,000 contract for the product.
Coal of Africa (LON:CZA) down 12.8%. A Singapore investment company has bought 183.2mln shares, around 9.5% of the company, at 5.15p per share, around £9.4mln total. It also secured a US$10mln loan from the company.
African Potash (LON:AFPO) up 20%. Shares rose again today on the news that The company has signed a deal with Comesa, a free trade union of twenty African countries, to provide 500,000 tonnes of fertiliser over three years.
FALLERS
Galileo Resources (LON:GLR) down 18.6%. The company said it has completed a placing of 31mln new shares at 1.2p to raise £375,000 to pay licence fees due on its US properties.
Bellzone Mining (LON:BZM) down 13.3%. After the market closed yesterday, the company said China Sonangol International subsidiary China Sonangol Pte, transferred its 50.50% holding in the company, to fellow subsidiary Hudson Global Group.
PHSC (LON:PHSC) down 9.8%. The company improved earnings and revenue but warned that “reduced Government funding of the enforcement authorities has led to some organisations spending less on compliance services and on general discretionary services.”
