Bradda Head Lithium latest results add confidence at Whistlejacket

Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL) said surface assays grading up to 4.24% lithium oxide have strengthened targets for its planned 2026 drilling programme at the Whistlejacket project in Arizona.

Of the 190 rock samples analysed, 29, or 15.3%, returned grades above 0.50% Li₂O. That included 24 samples above 1.00% and 15 above 1.50%. The samples were selectively collected from outcrops showing visible lithium-bearing minerals, predominantly spodumene.

The programme also highlighted five prospective areas outside the currently permitted drilling footprint. Four had previously been identified through work by Kennecott Exploration Company, while Bradda Head identified a fifth target containing a steeply dipping pegmatite estimated at around eight metres wide at surface.

Executive chair Ian Stalker said the results “significantly inform and strengthen our confidence” in the upcoming drill targets. A further 43 surface samples are undergoing laboratory analysis, with results expected to support continued targeting ahead of and alongside the 2026 exploration programme.

Whistlejacket is covered by an option-to-joint-venture agreement with Kennecott and has previously seen 19 diamond holes drilled for 4,188 metres, all of which intersected lithium mineralisation.
