Horizon Gold Ltd (ASX:HRN, OTC:HZGLF) has returned broad, high-grade gold intersections from drilling at the Kingfisher, Hawk and Swan prospects, highlighting potential resource growth near the proposed processing plant at its Gum Creek Gold Project in Western Australia.
The strongest result came from Kingfisher, where reverse circulation drilling intersected 23 metres at 5.26 g/t gold from 188 metres, including 15 metres at 7.65 g/t.
Other notable Kingfisher results included:
- 45 metres at 1.24 g/t from 114 metres, including 3 metres at 6.79 g/t; and
- 12 metres at 2.81 g/t from 74 metres, including 6 metres at 5.26 g/t.
The results confirmed mineralisation continuity within a gap in historical drilling and indicated potential extensions north of the existing resource model.
Kingfisher offers resource growth potential
Horizon completed 20 RC holes for 3,273 metres at Kingfisher, targeting infill areas and extensions to the current resource.
The prospect hosts an open-pit resource of 1.22 million tonnes at 2.01 g/t gold for 78,900 ounces and an underground resource of 1.04 million tonnes at 3.38 g/t for 113,500 ounces.
Additional intersections included 6 metres at 3.94 g/t from 67 metres, including 2 metres at 9.14 g/t, and 2 metres at 12.15 g/t from 52 metres, including 1 metre at 23.40 g/t.
Horizon's further drilling would target strike, up-plunge and down-dip extensions around the 23-metre intersection, with the aim of expanding the open-pittable resource and improving confidence levels.

Hawk and Swan mineralisation extended
At Hawk, drilling extended known gold mineralisation down-dip and down-plunge to the north.
Results included 12 metres at 2.30 g/t gold from 140 metres, including 6 metres at 4.26 g/t, along with 5 metres at 3.46 g/t from 159 metres.
The Hawk prospect currently hosts 758,000 tonnes at 1.35 g/t gold for 33,000 ounces.
Shallow drilling at Swan returned 16 metres at 1.84 g/t from 45 metres, including 7 metres at 3.03 g/t, and 6 metres at 1.23 g/t from 28 metres.
These results extended lower-grade mineralisation north of the current Swan resource model and will help refine the geological interpretation.
Managing director Scott Williamson said the results highlighted potential resource expansion close to the proposed 2.4-million-tonne-per-annum processing plant.
He noted that potential resource additions from the three prospects were not included in the recently completed definitive feasibility study and could enhance project economics.
Next steps
Horizon is planning follow-up RC and diamond drilling at Kingfisher, Hawk and Swan over the coming months.
The results will support updated mineral resource estimates for all three prospects later in 2026, while broader RC and diamond drilling continues across Gum Creek.
About Horizon Gold
Horizon Gold owns 100% of the Gum Creek Gold Project in Western Australia’s Mid-West region.
Gum Creek hosts a total mineral resource of 37.97 million tonnes at 1.89 g/t gold for 2.30 million ounces.
A recently completed open-pit definitive feasibility study outlined a maiden ore reserve of 18.2 million tonnes at 1.24 g/t for 728,000 ounces.
The study envisages average production of 88,000 ounces of gold annually over an initial 10-year mine life, with total recovered production of 880,000 ounces and all-in sustaining costs of A$2,995 per ounce.
