Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) reported second-quarter revenue that topped Wall Street expectations, but profitability metrics missed forecasts as margins compressed.
Revenue reached $28.24 billion, up 26% year-over-year and ahead of the $26.32 billion estimate.
Oatly Group (NASDAQ:OTLY) saw its shares surge 29% on Wednesday after the oat drink maker reported second quarter results that showed higher revenue, improved margins and progress toward profitability, while raising its full-year revenue outlook.
The company reported Q2 revenue of $240.1 million, up 15.2% from $208.4 million a year earlier. On a constant currency basis, revenue increased 12.7%, driven by growth across its Europe & International, North America and Greater China segments.
Pegasystems (NASDAQ:PEGA) shares fell about 15% following the release of its second quarter 2026 results, after the enterprise software company missed Wall Street expectations on both earnings and revenue.
The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.35 for the quarter, below analyst estimates of $0.43.
GE Vernova (NYSE:GEV) shares dropped about 6.4% on Wednesday morning after the power equipment maker's wind segment losses widened even as the company posted stronger-than-expected quarterly revenue and record orders.
The company's wind business, its long-standing trouble spot, reported revenue down 10% to $2.03 billion in the second quarter, with the segment's core loss widening to about $275 million on lower onshore equipment deliveries.
Custom Health Holdings Inc (TSX:CHLT) has signed a binding letter of intent to acquire Wisconsin-based Evergreen Pharmacy LLC in a deal expected to add more than US$78 million in annual revenue to the company.
Under the terms of the letter of intent, Custom Health will pay a total purchase price of US$3.5 million, including at least US$1 million of prescription drug inventory and US$450,000 of net working capital. The purchase price is payable in cash on closing, subject to a US$175,000 indemnity holdback for six months following closing.
Rocket Lab USA Inc (NASDAQ:RKLB) shares rose about 3% on Wednesday after the company secured a $266 million contract from the US Air Force and US Space Force to provide suborbital launch services.
The firm-fixed-price contract covers the launch of 12 suborbital vehicles, with options for six additional launches.
Varon Corp (OTCID:OZSC) announced that Ballislife Drink Inc, its joint venture with Varon USA and Ballislife Inc, has signed a multi-year exclusive deal giving an Alberta-based company that controls Shoot 360 Canada distribution rights across the country.
The agreement supports the nationwide rollout of Ballislife HYDRO Sports Drink in Canada and begins with an opening purchase order valued at approximately C$100,000, representing nearly 65,000 cans.
Aftermath Silver Ltd (TSX-V:AAG, OTCQX:AAGFF, FRA:FLM1) announced that it has started drilling at the eastern edge of its Berenguela project in Peru to test for high-grade copper mineralization beyond the current mineral resource estimate, while also launching a drill program at its Challacollo silver-gold project in northern Chile.
The company said the Berenguela program will initially include up to 1,000 metres of core drilling targeting an eastern copper zone, following previous drill results that intersected high-grade copper and silver mineralization. The program may be expanded depending on results.
AT&T Inc (NYSE:T, XETRA:SOBA) reported second-quarter adjusted earnings and profit growth that topped Wall Street estimates on Wednesday, driven by robust postpaid phone additions and broadband growth, sending shares up 4.3% at the open.
The telecom giant posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.65, up 20.4% from a year earlier and ahead of analyst estimates of $0.60.
Super Micro Computer Inc (NASDAQ:SMCI) shares opened about 20% higher on Tuesday after the company released preliminary fourth quarter fiscal 2026 results showing significantly stronger-than-expected gross margins and a record order backlog, despite revenue tracking near the low end of its guidance.
The AI server maker said revenue for the quarter ended June 30 is expected to be near the lower end of its previously issued guidance range of $11.0 billion to $12.5 billion. Wall Street analysts had been expecting revenue of about $11.73 billion.
