Vitura Health appoints senior leaders as streamlined structure targets A$1 million in annual savings

Vitura Health Ltd (ASX:VIT) has appointed two senior executives and reshaped its leadership team as the digital health company moves to improve operational efficiency, strengthen execution and place patients closer to the centre of decision-making.

James Frayne will join Vitura as chief financial officer on October 1, 2026, while Trudy Adams has been appointed executive general manager of strategy and technology and is expected to start on August 18.

The broader restructure, combined with initiatives implemented during the fourth quarter of FY26, is expected to generate annualised cost savings of about A$1 million.

Experienced executives join leadership team

Frayne is currently CFO of ASX-listed contractor management and procurement software company Felix, where he helped grow the business from less than A$500,000 in annual revenue to about A$15 million.

His experience spans finance, investor relations, capital management, governance, mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning. He also served as Felix’s interim chief executive between November 2025 and April 2026.

Adams most recently served as group chief operating officer at national health organisation Vertaview Group, where she oversaw strategy, transformation, technology, data and analytics, customer experience and workforce planning.

She previously held senior roles at health insurer HIF, Suncorp Group, PwC, CBRE and Bupa.

Leaner structure sharpens patient focus

Vitura has reduced its executive structure to two C-suite positions, removed the chief technology officer and separate Doctors on Demand chief executive roles, and introduced a series of executive general manager positions.

The streamlined leadership team will be headed by chief executive Justin James, with executives responsible for finance, strategy and technology, patient experience and growth, partnerships and distribution, emerging markets and clinics, and people and culture.

The removal of management layers means each executive will now sit no more than two levels from patients.

James said the leaner structure and additional leadership capability would support stronger operational discipline, faster decision-making and improved accountability as Vitura seeks sustainable profitability and shareholder value.
