Bluefield European Solar Fund Limited has postponed a planned stock market float blaming unfavourable market conditions currently.
It is the second Europe-focused solar power fund to scrap its listing in a week.
Bluefield was aiming to raise up to £200mln to invest in solar projects primarily in Spain and Italy.
That was also the aim of NextEnergy European Solar, which scrapped its listing plans last Thursday.
James Armstrong, managing partner of Bluefield, the investment adviser to European Solar, said: "We have taken the decision to postpone the initial public offering in light of unfavourable market conditions.
“We remain confident of our offer, however, now is not the opportune moment."
The fund had already received substantial backing, including commitments from fund managers BlackRock and Newton.
Bluefield manages the already listed UK-focused Solar Income Fund (LON:BSIF).
