Unith Ltd (ASX:UNT) has launched a $2.75 million capital raising to accelerate development and commercialisation of its AI-powered digital human technology.
The funding package includes a $1 million placement to institutional, sophisticated, and professional investors and a pro rata, non-renounceable entitlement offer targeting an additional $1.75 million. The company has also agreed to convert $500,000 of debt into equity on the same terms.
Unith will issue 125 million placement shares at $0.008 per share, with investors receiving one free-attaching option for every two shares subscribed.
The options will be exercisable at $0.013 and expire on December 31, 2028.
The issue price represents a 27.27% discount to Unith’s closing price of $0.011 on July 13, 2026, and discounts of 23.2% and 18.2% to the company’s respective 15-day and 30-day volume-weighted average prices.
Eligible shareholders will be able to participate in the entitlement offer on a one-for-seven basis at the same $0.008 issue price, with the same one-for-two option entitlement.
The entitlement offer is scheduled to close on August 14, with new securities expected to be issued on August 21 and normal trading targeted to begin on August 24.
Funding to support technology and commercial growth
Proceeds will be directed toward accelerating technology development, marketing and business development, strengthening commercial initiatives and supporting working capital.
Unith will also continue assessing potential corporate and strategic acquisition opportunities as it seeks to expand the commercial reach of its proprietary technology.
As part of the financing, the company will issue 62.5 million shares for the $500,000 debt conversion, along with 31.25 million options subject to shareholder approval.
