Genflow Biosciences dog trial continues to show longevity improvements

Genflow Biosciences Ltd (LSE:GENF, OTCQB:GENFF, FRA:WQ5) said improvements recorded in its SLAB aged-dog gene therapy trial were maintained three months after dosing, with no adverse events reported, ahead of further study results expected after the trial concludes at the end of July.

Preliminary data reported in February showed that all treatment groups recorded superior survival against the control group during the dosing period. The study involves 24 beagles aged over 10 across four cohorts, including two naked-DNA dose levels, a single-dose AAV8 group and a control.

Analysis of biological age using methylation clocks and muscle-biopsy histology remains in progress. A separate blinded study, GF-1004, is also expected to produce a six-month efficacy assessment in July or early in the second half of 2026.

Genflow said it had expanded confidentiality agreements with additional Tier-1 animal-health companies following the interim results. It also highlighted its fully funded, non-dilutive collaboration with Acuitas Therapeutics to develop lipid-nanoparticle delivery formulations for its SIRT6 mRNA payload.
