4basebio PLC (AIM:4BB, FRA:8L7, ETR:88Q), the AIM-listed synthetic DNA company, has appointed Cornel Chiriac as a non-executive director.
Chiriac is an investment director at M&G Investments' Crossover Fund and brings 25 years of investing and management experience, including a decade in deep tech and science venture capital.
He was a founding partner of 2050 Capital and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Chief executive Amy Walker said his understanding of scaling technology businesses would support the company's growth.
