London-listed fund again clears the exchange's threshold for revenues tied to the low-carbon transition
GCP Infrastructure Investments (LSE:GCP), the FTSE 250 fund that finances infrastructure and real assets, has been awarded the London Stock Exchange's Green Economy Mark for the seventh consecutive year.
The accreditation recognises listed companies and investment funds that derive more than 50% of their revenues from products and services contributing directly to the green economy.
GCP first received the designation in 2020 and has maintained it every year since.
The mark, introduced by the exchange in 2019, is intended to help investors identify organisations supporting the shift towards a lower-carbon economy.
Recognition came as part of the 2026 Green Economy Mark Report, which noted that the global green economy now exceeds $10 trillion in market capitalisation.
Philip Kent, investment adviser to GCP and chief executive of Gravis, said the mark offered a credible way to communicate the fund's green credentials to investors and other stakeholders.
He added that it supported the company's engagement and business development activities while recognising the role sustainable infrastructure could play in delivering long-term value for shareholders.
