Pantera Minerals hits up to 19.2% antimony at Arkansas critical minerals project

Pantera Minerals Ltd (ASX, OTCQB) has returned high-grade antimony, silver and base metal results from Phase 2 exploration at its 100%-owned Gillham Project in southwest Arkansas, strengthening the company’s view that the asset could host a district-scale polymetallic system.

The latest rock chip results included up to 19.2% antimony from Stewart North, 15% antimony from Antimony Bluff and 9.3% antimony from the May Prospect, alongside strong silver, zinc and lead values at Stewart.

The results have refined several priority targets ahead of Pantera’s planned maiden drilling campaign, which the company sees as a key value catalyst.

High-grade results across multiple prospects

Phase 2 exploration confirmed high-grade antimony and polymetallic mineralisation across Stewart, May and Antimony Bluff.

Notable results included 63.8 g/t silver, 7.55% antimony, 8.6% zinc and 7.44% lead from sample GR055 at the Stewart Prospect, as well as 19.2% antimony, 12.25 g/t silver and 1.1% lead from sample GR058 at Stewart North.

Further results included 15% antimony from Antimony Bluff and 9.3% antimony from the May Prospect.

Pantera said the program had expanded and refined several mineralised trends, confirmed the relationship between surface geochemistry and historical workings, and identified multiple targets for drill testing.

Gillham shows district-scale potential

The Stewart and May anomalies now extend around 400 metres and 500 metres respectively and sit within a broader 2-kilometre mineralised trend. This supports the potential for a district-scale antimony, silver and polymetallic system at Gillham.

The project covers about 5,000 acres across the Gillham East and Gillham West project areas and hosts more than 18 historical antimony and silver workings.

Despite its history of small-scale production, the district has not previously been tested by modern drilling.

“Significant mineralisation at depth”

Pantera executive chairman and CEO Barnaby Egerton-Warburton said the latest work had strengthened the company’s confidence in Gillham.

“Phase 2 exploration has further strengthened our confidence in the Gillham Project, with expanded antimony, silver, and base metal anomalism confirming the scale and continuity of multiple mineralised systems across the project area. The latest soil and rock-chip results have extended several priority target zones and identified new areas for follow-up exploration.

“The strong correlation between high-grade rock-chip results, extensive soil anomalies and historical workings continues to support the potential for significant mineralisation at depth. Importantly, the Phase 2 program has refined multiple high-priority drill targets as we advance toward our maiden drilling campaign, which we believe represents a significant value catalyst for the Company.”

Stewart and May upgraded as priority drill targets

At Stewart, historical records indicate the Stewart Mine produced around 1,000 tonnes of stibnite from small-scale surface workings.

Recent sampling has upgraded the prospect as a priority drill target, with high-grade antimony, silver, lead and zinc results supported by coincident soil anomalism of up to 2,660ppm antimony along the broader Stewart and May trend.

At May, the latest assays represent the first modern rock chip results from the prospect and validate recent high-grade soil anomalies identified by Pantera.

May has now been upgraded to a high-priority drill target after returning antimony grades of up to 9.3%.

Follow-up field mapping and sampling at Antimony Bluff also returned high-grade antimony, including 15% antimony from sample GR063.

Maiden drilling next step

Pantera’s immediate work program will focus on advancing Gillham toward maiden drilling.

Planned activities include final target ranking and drill program design, followed by maiden drilling of priority antimony and polymetallic targets at Davis, Stewart and May.

The company will also continue assessing additional US-based critical minerals opportunities that complement its broader strategy.

About Pantera Minerals
