XPEDRA RESOURCES LIMITED (ASX:XPD) has returned further wide, shallow gold intercepts from the Springfield Gold Deposit in New South Wales, including 44 metres at 2.03 g/t gold from 1 metre and 24 metres at 2.97 g/t gold from surface.
The latest assays, from four additional reverse circulation (RC) drill holes, continue to support the scale and continuity of a shallow gold system at Springfield, which sits in the Lachlan Fold Belt of central NSW.
Assays have now been received for 19 holes from Xpedra’s 27-hole maiden RC program, with results pending for a further 8 holes.
Wide intercepts strengthen Springfield continuity
The strongest new result came from hole SFRC018, which returned 44 metres at 2.03 g/t gold from 1 metre, including 7 metres at 4.04 g/t gold from 1 metre and 12 metres at 3.46 g/t gold from 25 metres.
Hole SFRC017 also delivered a broad near-surface intercept of 24 metres at 2.97 g/t gold from surface, including 15 metres at 4.27 g/t gold from surface and 8 metres at 6.71 g/t gold from surface.
Additional results included 23 metres at 1.02 g/t gold from surface, including 9 metres at 1.75 g/t gold from 14 metres in SFRC016, and 12 metres at 1.36 g/t gold from 64 metres in SFRC019.
SFRC017 also returned further mineralisation down-hole, including 7 metres at 1.22 g/t gold from 42 metres, 1 metre at 3.58 g/t gold from 69 metres and 1 metre at 2.55 g/t gold from 99 metres to end of hole.

Assays released in today's announcement are shown in dark yellow. Assays for eight holes drilled in the recent 27-hole program are pending and expected in the coming weeks.
Mineralisation open in multiple directions
The latest holes were drilled to test continuity through the central-northern part of Springfield’s main mineralised corridor.
Xpedra said the results confirmed broad, high-grade gold mineralisation in this area and extended thick, shallow gold mineralisation over more than 180 metres of strike. The system remains open to the north and at depth.
The new assays build on earlier results from the southern portion of the corridor, including 55 metres at 1.32 g/t gold from surface, 37 metres at 1.90 g/t gold from surface and 16 metres at 2.66 g/t gold from surface.
Managing director Scott Funston said the latest assays continued to demonstrate the emerging scale and continuity of Springfield.
“Importantly, thick gold mineralisation has been intersected at shallow depths over 180 metres of strike in our maiden drilling program, including a new standout intercept of 44 metres at 2.03 g/t gold from 1 metre depth in recently received assays.
“This is one of the strongest results received to date.”
Follow-up drilling to test depth extensions
With mineralisation still open in several directions, Xpedra will begin a follow-up RC drilling program of about 1,000 metres this week.
The program has been designed to test deeper extensions below the shallow mineralisation delineated in the maiden drilling campaign.
Assays from the remaining eight holes in the initial program are expected in the coming weeks and include holes drilled further north along strike, as well as 4 widely spaced holes testing depth potential.
About Springfield
Xpedra acquired a 100% interest in the Springfield Gold Deposit in November 2025.
The project is in central NSW and hosts a mineralised intrusion extending over more than 1,700 metres of strike. Historical shallow drilling and mapping identified thick gold mineralisation, although drilling before Xpedra’s maiden program was limited to 6,568 metres.
Previous historical results at Springfield include 27 metres at 3.65 g/t gold from surface, 86 metres at 1.04 g/t gold from 104 metres, 65 metres at 1.16 g/t gold from 2 metres and 41 metres at 1.47 g/t gold from 22 metres.
Drilling below the shallow mineralisation has tested only about 500 metres of the broader mineralised intrusion, leaving the system open along strike and at depth.
