C3 Metals Inc (TSX-V:CCCM, OTC:CUAUF) has reported results from 10 additional drill holes at its wholly owned Khaleesi copper project in southern Peru, highlighting the discovery of two new skarn zones and manto-style copper mineralization that extend the footprint of the mineralized system.
The latest drilling program has identified new garnet-magnetite skarns located approximately 400 metres and 1,000 metres southwest of the main skarn body first intersected in hole KHZ5800-001, which previously returned 269 metres grading 0.30% copper.
Hole KHZ5450-001, drilled about 400 metres southwest of the main skarn, intersected 67.6 metres grading 0.45% copper, 0.029 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 1.51 g/t silver and 17 parts per million (ppm) molybdenum, equivalent to 0.51% copper equivalent (CuEq), from a downhole depth of 112.9 metres.
Further southwest, hole KHZ5140-001 encountered a 4.2-metre interval of manto-style mineralization grading 2.97% copper, 0.015 g/t gold, 4.92 g/t silver and 2 ppm molybdenum (3.16% CuEq) at a downhole depth of 329.7 metres.
A second newly identified skarn zone was intersected in hole KHZ5140-004, which returned 60.9 metres grading 0.50% copper, 0.027 g/t gold, 2.21 g/t silver and 10 ppm molybdenum (0.55% CuEq) from 44 metres downhole.
The company also reported expanded skarn and intrusive-hosted copper mineralization beneath glacial till cover in the north-central portion of the project. Hole KHZ5960-001 intersected 109 metres of diorite-hosted mineralization averaging 0.29% copper, 0.028 g/t gold, 0.99 g/t silver and 115 ppm molybdenum (0.39% CuEq) from 45 metres downhole. This interval was followed by 118 metres of magnetite skarn-hosted mineralization grading 0.30% copper, 0.024 g/t gold, 0.85 g/t silver and 75 ppm molybdenum (0.37% CuEq) from 354.9 metres downhole.
Hole KHZ5960-002, drilled east of KHZ5960-001, intersected 154.7 metres of near-surface diorite-hosted secondary copper mineralization grading 0.21% copper, 0.017 g/t gold, 0.71 g/t silver and 4 ppm molybdenum (0.24% CuEq).
"We continue to expand the Khaleesi copper system, as evidenced by the discovery of two new skarns and new manto-style copper mineralization," C3 Metals CEO Dan Symons said in a statement.
He added that the company plans to extend mapping, soil sampling and geophysical surveys to increase its exploration coverage from about 8 square kilometres to 16 square kilometres.
“This new data will be crucial for extending drilling over a much larger area at Khaleesi. Drilling will continue concurrent with the collection this expanded data set,” Symons said.
Since drilling began at Khaleesi in September 2025, C3 Metals has completed approximately 13,600 metres of drilling in 31 holes from 17 drill platforms. Assay results have now been released for 27 holes.
The company said geophysical surveys, including drone magnetics, three-dimensional induced polarization and gravity studies, are scheduled between mid-June and September 2026.
C3 Metals has reduced its drilling fleet from two rigs to one while additional geophysical data are collected and interpreted, with the remaining rig continuing to test priority targets and expand known skarn and diorite mineralization.
