Toubani Resources Ltd (ASX:TRE) has delivered a strong batch of high-grade reverse circulation drilling results from its Kobada Gold Project in southern Mali, supporting resource definition work ahead of an updated mineral resource estimate and planned start of mining activities in early 2027.
The results come from pre-production infill drilling in the northern area of the Kobada mineral resource estimate (MRE), as well as follow-up drilling at Kobada South, where the company is targeting near-surface oxide mineralisation to provide additional mining flexibility.
The results highlight broad high-grade zones with key intersections from the latest drilling including:
- 72 metres at 2.27 g/t gold from 92 metres in KBRC26_161B, including 3 metres at 16.8 g/t and 4 metres at 12.5 g/t;
- 53 metres at 3.67 g/t gold from 87 metres to end of hole in KBRC26_142, including 7 metres at 16.3 g/t;
- 20 metres at 4.58 g/t gold from 198 metres in KBRC26_160, including 1 metre at 64.6 g/t;
- 61 metres at 1.80 g/t gold from 183 metres in KBRC26_190, including 7 metres at 6.61 g/t;
- 31 metres at 3.12 g/t gold from 187 metres in KBRC26_160;
- 1 metre at 86.5 g/t gold from 17 metres in KBRC26_180;
- 62 metres at 1.52 g/t gold from 139 metres in KBRC26_188;
- 15 metres at 4.93 g/t gold from 204 metres to end of hole in KBRC26_161B, including 3 metres at 19.8 g/t; and
- 12 metres at 4.41 g/t gold from 49 metres in KBRC26_193, including 1 metre at 35.2 g/t.

Assays have been received from 26 of 47 holes drilled in the northern part of the Kobada MRE, with further results still pending.
Drilling to support Q3 resource update
The infill drilling is designed to add data in the northern section of the resource ahead of the forthcoming MRE update, scheduled to begin in Q3 2026.
The updated MRE is expected to be used to finalise the near-term mining schedule for the start of mining activities early in 2027.
Managing director Phil Russo said the results validated high-grade zones within the Kobada mineralisation and provided encouragement ahead of the MRE update.
“This latest set of infill results successfully validates the high-grade zones within the Kobada mineralisation, offering great encouragement for our upcoming MRE update as we prepare for mining operations,” Russo said.
Kobada South and regional targets
Toubani also reported further oxide results from follow-up drilling at Kobada South, where earlier work delineated mineralisation over 1.6 kilometres of strike, parallel to the main Kobada Shear.
Notable Kobada South results included 4 metres at 3.71 g/t gold from 124 metres, including 1 metre at 12.8 g/t, and 10 metres at 1.57 g/t gold from 113 metres, including 3 metres at 4.39 g/t.

Drilling is continuing at Foroko, northeast of Kobada, with 2 RC rigs on site. The company plans to move the rigs to Gosso after Foroko, targeting additional near-surface oxide resources that could provide alternative sources of plant feed and increase optionality in mine planning.
Toubani has completed about 30,000 metres of a budgeted 60,000-metre RC drilling program for 2026, part of a broader 100,000-metre project-wide drilling campaign.
About Kobada and Toubani Resources
