Space and defense deep tech company Syntec Optics Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:OPTX) said it has received nearly $2.4 million in new purchase orders for an optics product line built to support weekly launches of Low Earth Orbit satellites.
The Rochester, New York-based company said the orders, scaled for higher production in the first quarter of 2026, expand a previously announced order of nearly $1.9 million for the same product line. The new and prior awards bring total recent orders for the line to nearly $4.3 million, with full delivery expected before the middle of next quarter, according to the company.
Syntec Optics tied the demand to weekly launches of Low Earth Orbit satellites, the cadence of deployments the product line is intended to support. The company said the product line is being scaled for higher production in the first quarter of 2026 to meet that schedule.
The stacking of a nearly $2.4 million order on top of the earlier nearly $1.9 million award points to repeat demand for the product line rather than a one-time purchase. Reaching nearly $4.3 million in total recent orders gives Syntec Optics a defined near-term delivery commitment for the line, with the company expecting full delivery before the middle of next quarter.
Producing optics geared to weekly Low Earth Orbit satellite launches positions Syntec Optics within the supply chain for high-cadence satellite deployment, a segment of the space market driven by large, recurring launch programs. Continued orders for the line would extend the company's exposure to that recurring deployment activity.
Syntec Optics describes itself as a Space and Defense deep tech leader, supplying optics products including a line scaled for higher production to support weekly launches of Low Earth Orbit satellites.
