Beeks Financial Cloud Group PLC (AIM:BKS) shares traded positively after it secured a US$3 million, five-year software contract with an existing analytics customer, lifting the total value of contracts signed in June to around US$10 million.
The cloud computing and connectivity provider for financial markets said the deal covers the deployment of Beeks Analytics and Market Edge Intelligence for a leading North American exchange operator.
Beeks said the customer has expanded its deployment of Beeks Analytics and will also deploy Market Edge Intelligence in New York, with revenue recognition expected to begin immediately.
Chief executive Gordon McArthur said the contract was the company’s third Market Edge Intelligence win within months of launch, providing “strong validation” of the product and its commercial opportunity.
Market Edge Intelligence is designed for Tier 1 and 2 financial institutions and brings AI-powered insight to the colocation edge, combining advanced analytics with real-time infrastructure intelligence for latency-sensitive trading environments.
In London, Beeks shares climbed 12.25p or 6.1%, changing hands at 212.25p.
