Team Internet expects update on potential DIS division sale by end of Q3

Team Internet Group PLC (AIM:TIG, OTCQX:TIGXF, FRA:4CN) expects to announce the outcome of a potential disposal of its Domains, Identity & Software division in the first half of the third quarter of 2026, as the group's strategic review to unlock shareholder value progresses.

It said discussions with selected parties were continuing and that it would pursue a sale where it delivers fair value, though it cautioned that no certainty existed that any transaction would be agreed or as to its terms.

The DIS division, which provides domain registration and identity services, delivered strong mid-teens net revenue growth and approximately 40% EBITDA growth in the five months to 31 May, making it the group's most resilient business alongside its Comparison segment.

The update came alongside a trading statement covering the full year to 31 December 2025 and the year to date, in which Team Internet reported gross revenue of $481.9 million for FY25, down from $802.8 million a year earlier.

This reflected a deliberate strategic contraction in its Search segment following the transition away from Google's AdSense for Domains platform.

Adjusted EBITDA fell to $42.7 million from $91.9 million, with the group also recording $41.7 million of impairment charges primarily relating to Search, resulting in an operating loss of $49.9 million.

The group said its Search segment was now positioned for a profitable second half of 2026 following a cost optimisation and automation programme, with the transition to next-generation monetisation complete.

Net debt fell to $87.6 million from $96.4 million.
