Janus Electric bolsters leadership team to accelerate global heavy vehicle electrification growth

New advisory and executive appointments target commercial expansion in Australia and North America

Janus Electric Holdings Ltd (ASX:JNS) has strengthened its leadership and advisory ranks with a series of appointments aimed at supporting the commercial rollout of its heavy vehicle electrification platform across Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada.

The company has appointed transport and infrastructure specialist Zorana Bull as senior adviser to the board, North American technology and transportation executive Mark Ramirez to drive market development in the region, and enterprise transformation leader Brooke Ditzler as chief operating officer.

The appointments come as Janus Electric transitions from technology validation to large-scale commercial deployment of its battery-swapping electric truck platform.

Furthermore, Janus is gearing up for a North American rollout where supportive policies are helping accelerate fleet electrification.

Transport expertise added at board level

Bull brings extensive experience across transport, logistics, infrastructure and government sectors, having previously served as Australian chief operating officer and global partner at PA Consulting Group. She currently holds non-executive director positions at TasPorts, Jet Travel Australia and HealthShare NSW, and is managing partner at consultancy Altura Partners.

In her new advisory role, Bull will assist Janus Electric with commercial strategy and stakeholder engagement across domestic and international transport markets, including port authorities, transport agencies and logistics operators.

Chief executive officer and managing director Ben Hutt said Bull’s experience aligned closely with the company’s customer base and growth objectives.

“Zorana brings deep experience across the transport, infrastructure and logistics sectors, which are directly relevant to Janus Electric’s customer base and growth strategy,” Hutt said.

Focus on North American growth

Janus Electric has also appointed Dallas-based executive Mark Ramirez to support North American market development from June 1, 2026. Ramirez has more than 20 years’ experience across technology, supply chain and transportation sectors and will work alongside the company’s executive and US operations teams to advance customer engagement and strategic growth initiatives.

Ramirez is co-founder of advisory firm TIQ Capital and has previously held senior positions with HCL-Perot Systems, Trinity Rail and Accenture. His initial focus will include California’s port logistics sector, drayage operators and priority freight corridors across North America.

Hutt said Ramirez’s network and industry experience positioned him well to support the company’s expansion plans in the region.

New COO to lead operational scale-up

Brooke Ditzler will join Janus Electric as chief operating officer on 22 June 2026, taking responsibility for the development of the company’s operating platform, including production systems, workforce capacity and commercial scaling initiatives.

Ditzler brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience and spent seven years at Amazon, where she helped scale operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America. Most recently, she led a large enterprise transformation program for a major manufacturing business.

Founder shifts to business development role

As part of the leadership changes, current chief operating officer Lex Forsyth will move into a dedicated business development role focused on Australia and North America. Forsyth, who helped develop Janus Electric’s founding technology and led deployment of Australia’s first solar-powered Charge & Change Station, will focus on customer acquisition and strategic partnerships.

Non-executive chairman Tony Fay said the appointments strengthened the company’s capabilities across strategy, operations and commercial development as it pursued growth opportunities in key international markets.

Janus Electric is developing a heavy vehicle electrification platform that converts Class 6–8 diesel trucks to electric vehicles using modular battery-swapping technology and supporting charging infrastructure.
